Tesco Express

Was in today at about 1220. I used the self scan checkouts but my box of antihistamines were too light to register on scales and repeated place in the bagging area. A middle aged dark skinned lady member of staff with a dark bob hairstyle used the machine next to me. I told her and she said to try to scan something else. I replied nothing else would scanned until it was resolved. There was no reply from her and she went behind the counter and serve a different customer leaving me with the problem. Eventually after lifting my milk it cleared but i had 5 packs so it was repeated. She may have been new and not know how to resolve it but she should have asked someone. She could have put the multiples in the machine for me to save that problem. I informed her on leaving she should have helped me before serving someone else. Not great service on her behalf.

Really poor customer service. Partner was asked to come back into shop as security thought she had not paid for a full bag of shopping! No apologies from anyone involved once it was established it had been paid for. The Man behind the till huffed and puffed when she asked him for a bag and pulled a face like it was a big chore. Wont be going back here again

Small but good. Coronavirus protection as good as possible and the staff make every effort. Customers always masked give or take the occasional selfish idiot. Not an enormous selection but can always make a decent meal from what is available.

absolutley awful place, no stock, youll be lucky to find a miserable member of staff when all the self serves stop working. GO TO BUDGENS AT QUADRANT !!!

Can we please have fewer serve yourself checkouts and more staffed?
Balance is quite wrong at the moment for those of us who are elderly and frail - and no doubt others. Present situation is unfair on staff trying to give helpful and efficient service.

Lovely trip this evening. Popped in to get a couple bits and was served by a very helpful employee. Aimee helped me find what I needed and provided excellent customer service. The store was clean, well-stocked and organised.

Had what I wanted, Nice Friendly young Lady on TILL ....

Handy little store for topping up between weekly shops.
