Typical Sainsbury's store except for the over zealous security guards who remind me of Paul Blart the mall cop.
They give the impression they are the equivalent of the Metropolitan Police and I'm sure they would happily carry tazers and firearms if allowed! Rather comical in reality!

The customer service is appalling at the self checkouts as they consider most people paying especially as to what I have seen considered as shoplifters. Not good at all and the staff managing that area make you feel very uncomfortable. Not added photos this time. The energy is all wrong inside this supermarket.

Much prefer Morrisons or Tescos, something about this shop the atmosphere is bad,I get a bad energy when I enter and its throughout the shop, it's dull and gloomy, staff don't look or act happy would be nice for them to at least smile on the till the ones that are there I should say. I don't think I shall risk this shop again something isn't right gives me the creeps...

I much prefer this branch of Sainsbury's to the one in the town centre not just because there are items that I can only get at this branch such as black garlic as well as having a greater variety of choice of other products, but the staff here don't ogle you at the self service till when paying for the goods like they do in the town centre store. The shopping ambience therefore is much more pleasant and relaxed. The only slight disappointment is that they no longer have a selection of cds and dvds though it is good that they still sell books.

I usually get everything I want at this branch including the aforementioned pleasant relaxed shopping experience.

A poor experience today! I just popped in for an offer on bread flour. A 3kg bag had a hole in it “patched” poorly with clear sticky tape and leaking flour! As a partially sighted person this was almost impossible for me to see! The whole place seemed dated and tired when compared to Aldi or Asda. Checkout lady seemed grumpy too.

I have been trying to contact store by phone and email to let them know that their microwave red and white quinoa with use by date Jul 23 was mouldy inside when I used it tonight. It smelt dreadful and of formaldehyde, it was also black and mouldy when opened up. Couldn't get through to anyone. Sent to website with nowhere to report it. Worried that others will be poisoned

Clean store that is well laid out. Could be cheaper but there you go these days. Polite check out lady.

Sainsbury food has always been good but I was in here for the now Inbuilt Argos that Sainsbury's own, certainly not so good, your told to go to a specific counter on your online order, then herded like sheep into a single line when you do arrive, staff were pleasant but don't really have a clue, I was asked to buy an extended warranty, I already had, but nobody knew where it was or how it would be activated, so this review is a half and half, owned by sainsbury but not efficiently managed, I don't personally shop at sainsbury's as I find them a bit more expensive but they do have some good stuff, their jam doughnuts alone are the best going easily over anybody else's, but not keen on this store in store test unfortunately happening everywhere these days, certainly not for the better, purely due to economics, as same day pick up isn't readily available anymore
