Lidl

Lidl in Cwmbran is a great place to do a food shop or nipping in to get a couple of things. I find it quite easy to get in and out for a weekly food shop, and I've never seen it as busy as other supermarkets which to me is a bonus. Staff are friendly and approachable, prices are very reasonable and have a good selection of items. The in-store bakery is a nice feature which a good selection to choose from. We've switched from Asda in Cwmbran to the Lidl Cwmbran and it's cheaper as less stressful in terms of parking and how busy supermarkets can get. If you've not been before I would highly recommend a change of scenery and you may even prefer it like I do. All in all a good shopping experience

The shop is on the smaller side compared to newer Lidl. Really can't be beaten for price and quality is also good. Finding more things out of stock in the last few months but this is in line with other shops. Some really friendly hard working staff.

Small but perfectly formed. It's a Lidl, so queues are more or less guaranteed, but apart from the bakery usually being short of stuff it's got most of what you need

Love going to Lidl. Never overly busy. Great bakery section . There meat is to die for . Far better than the more expensive supermarkets

No pies or pasties in fridges.
Not much choice of washing up liquid.
No bags at bakery went to ask assistant but no one on shop floor.
Very poor experience at this store.

Clean & tidy need more tills open there was only 1 at the time we were there they did open another 1

Nice experience not rushed and tossed around in the aisles. Good disabled parking facilities too.

Shop’s ok but beware of the high kerbs in the car park when it comes to front valances they take no prisoners. I’ve damaged 2 cars here and reported to Lidl,only to be told car park is the property of a separate company. I’ve emailed this company only to be fobbed off
