Called this company because I needed to get a nail in my tyre sorted out. "It'll have to be tomorrow," was the curt response. First impressions count for everything, and this first impression wasn't great. I've gone somewhere else where they're a bit less grumpy.

Its my job as a mystery shopper to check out mot center's in various locations, I have taken several cars and vans to hi-q Kettering branch for them all to fail on minor faults (money making faults). Funnily enough these vehicles all passed at other local mot center's and the mot guy even let me inspect the mot failure issues which were no where to be found! Unfortunately as part of my job I have to report my findings to v.o.s.a. My advice would be to avoid hi-q Kettering, as they seem to be only interested in making "targets" by finding extra work that isn't there at the customers expense.

Pleasant staff even made me cup of tea while I waited for my service to be done.

Hiq were amazing, maybe it was just luck but I came out for work one morning, slid a bit more than I should have in did conditions, got out and checked the tyres to find 1 was well below par. So I called them, it was a Saturday, I was assuming I'd be getting an appointment for the Mon or tue, but after explaining my situation, he said come up right away and if you don't mind waiting a few minutes we'll get you in right away. I was there about half an hour, brilliant!!!

The mechanic that opened the glove box and door left black marks everywhere, but they were so great I'm not bothered, cheers guys.

Great service, great price. I was running late for an MOT and HiQ went out of their way to help. MOT failed on a minor which they sorted with no additional cost. Will 100% use them again
