An interesting places to stop off at if you're in town. It gets only 4 stars because it's not anywhere near as old as a "real" (prehistoric) stone circle, but it does at least commemorate something that's still got a page in Wales' history.

Free parking is available right outside this beautiful location next to the river. The stone bridge and town nearby are worth a few pictures as well. For me though, the most amazing thing was the feelings inside the circle. Extremely atmospheric and would make anyone tingle. Beautiful, beautiful spot! Needs some locally provided information as there is nothing to tell you about the history at all.

if you're interested in stone circles this is a nice easy one to locate in North Wales. The area the stones are in appears well kept, parking is located within 25m of the stones.
