Dam looks monumentally.
Great for exploring and taking a memorable pictures!
Got ability to park on the edge of the lake on the leading road to Dam.
Also you can drive through to another side of Dam and park there.
Public WC is there, wich is great!
As on Easter 2022 some trees been taken down. The note explained that was some tree's illness. Pity.
The tower in the the waters of the lake... I saw people was walking by...
The parking in few minutes of walk from it.
"The straining tower at Vyrnwy is an imposing castle-like structure - a total of 48 metres high, standing in about 15 metres of water - which stands by the lake quite close to the dam. Lake Vyrnwy supplies Liverpool with water, and it travels there along a 70 mile aqueduct which starts at the Straining Tower, where any detritus is removed by a mesh filter."
