Station is ok but definitely needs some attention. There's not enough space on the westbound platform, the toilets where closed which was not great thankfully there's an enclosed shelter for the London bound but it isn't that big

Horrible station. I saw nobody at the ticket office or ticket barriers despite it being lunchtime, the footbridge linking the platforms is old and drafty and they won't let you use the side entrance to get step free access to the London bound platform unless you have "less ability to climb stairs." It's almost like they want to discriminate against the disabled. Service here isn't great either.

Rainham is the last village with in the county and has a few good monuments worth visiting pubs and restaurants are also worth a gander.

I'm from South London so really ever go to Rainham when I'm visiting someone. It's a little bit far but it's pretty nice & peaceful & has a variety of places (Romford, Lakeside, Stratford, West Ham) that you can visit because they're so close by.

Lovely little village on the outskirts of both Havering and Greater London. An old fashioned style to the shopping despite having a massive modern Tescos there now as well. Massive new housing estates for 3,000 plus houses for new buyers in this area on what was the old Ford Motor Company's 578 acre or 5 by 3 miles 15 Square miles of estate there b4 the lack of Tory investment drove them away from the UK to fairer shores and Beam Park Railway Station soon to be under construction on the Fenchurch Street Line ( Tory Gov at present has decided NOT to fund its £43million construction cost so work has ground to a halt b4 its even really yet started there ) nearby and in the village itself going on nearby as well. Clean air too. Loadsa walks along the River Thames and a huge wildlife Sanctuary re the Rainham Marshes Country Park Areas nearby. Lovely!

I Was working there this morning and there was a young fella asleep on the platform.. the lady station supervisor probably done the nicest thing I have seen in a very long time . She made him a cup of tea and contacted his parents and waited there while his parents turned up .. my faith in humanity has been restored 🙏 .to the lady in question you are one lovely caring person. Dont ever change .. hope c2c will see this
