They are an hour down the road from me but compared to other dealers The service I got was second to none.
I bought second hand but due to the experience of the sales staff it felt like I was buying a new van.
Really pleased with the vehicle and would highly recommend this dealer.
Our business needed a van quickly, the cam belt went on our delivery van at about 2pm on the Thursday. A quick check on ExeterDiesels website offered a few options. After a phone call to them we narrowed the choices down to a Vauxhall combo.
By 11am the next day we collected our new van with all the paper work completed.
Thanks once again for your fantastic service.
Nick Wedgery. Care Clean Exeter
I bought a van back in May 2022, everything was rushed on the day signing the documents and handing me the keys over because the guy had to rush to Plymouth to collect another van.
While driving the van home the dashboard came away which I wasn't too impressed with(surely someone noticed that when cleaning it as it was loose) I took the van back and they glued it back.
I was told when I was buying the van the advisories from the mot will all be done. When I looked through the work history that I received I noticed there wasn't any proof the near side drive shaft boot had been replaced, it was stated on the mot as severerly deteriorated leaking out. I went back to Exeter diesels and questioned this and they said it was done and they had my van on the ramp and showed me. I asked for the paperwork as proof and this was his response "it was done before the mot retake so you wouldn't get any paperwork"
2 weeks ago my van broke down! THE DRIVE SHAFT SNAPPED
The recovery guy said it was due to the boot was shredded and leaked and so did the independent garage I got it towed to. I was going to take the van back to Exeter diesels but after hearing it broke down because they lied to me I chose not too.
The fact they took me out the back and had my van on the ramp and lied to my face showing me they done it. All they done was wipe it dry before showing me.
I lost 8 days money as couldn't work and a repair bill of nearly £700, plus I had to pay £200 to get recovered as the rac didn't turn up(the rac cover came with the van)
Any more problems I encounter with this van I will take to a garage and pay for even tho I have warranty on the van and possible could get it done for free at Exeter diesels, that's how much I trust them.
