I love my car but the customer service from Heritage Motors is appalling. They did not explain the warranty, then when I tried to make a claim they dismissed it out of hand with the opinion of their “engineer” who had never seen the vehicle. Even claimed my trusted garage had carried out unnecessary work. I emailed them in Feb, April, June and July about a minor fault I thought they might help me with and their response was finally “I thought if it was an issue for you, you would have already got it fixed yourself by now” and told me to look on eBay. As a professional who works with countless employers across the Hampshire area I would not recommend this company to anyone. Even though the car is great it has cost me money and disappointment with this company.

Purchased a 308 diesel from Richard @ Heritage. Car had to be write as i had to travel 100 miles plus. Cars was presented well, serviced and had a valet. Great car no issues, good value. Richard was very helpful & polite.
i would purchase another car off Richard.

I agree after sales are very very poor and there is no written warranty just here say. I brought my car in may and told them I had a severe heart condition and needed a car that I could rely on to get me to and from hospital appointments. Unfortunately the car had a problem and had to have a recon engine put in. The car took over 5 weeks to get back and they refused to give me any other means of transport and said they were only a small company and did not loan out curtesy cars even though they new about my condition. The car it self is now ok but I would not recommend this company because of there poor communications. Even though they advertise as a company they seem to be individuals when selling cars as they say you have to see the person who sold you the car even though they might be out of the country. They seem to not agree with you when you tell them there is a problem and try to blame you for causing the problems in the first place. Please if you have any doubts do not buy from this company.

Bought a VW Passat from Heritage in 2015 with an inherent starting problem which I discovered a week after the purchase. They said their mechanic can't find the problem but asked me to call breakdown assistance when the starting problem happens again so they can get a copy of the report, which I did on 3 occasions after. They kept delaying me until the warranty period had passed and then stone-walled me saying that the car was out of warranty! I ended up spending plenty of money to have it sorted (which I believe they knew what the problem was). I have just sold the car on again but now in proper working condition. Very nice people to talk to but equally very unethical people, do not get caught!
I have have emails to show that there was constant communication until the warranty period had ended and they bluntly said that they will no longer honor any defects.

I Bought a focus st off Richard, would recommend a very nice chap and friendly staff.if there was a problem he would sort it out.think again tried sorting the problem out but started not replying to my texts which I still have on my phone to date.
When I decided enough is enough after 5 months which the car stayed in the garage for that time he decided to claim he wasn't trading anymore.
Car broken from the start of purchase and got proof from emails and messages.
Car now gone back to fiance company and waiting to here if I can get my money back.

Great service from Richard from start to finish. Provided a video of the car before we went to see it. Explained all the add ons in the vehicle. Lovely car on its way to it's new home. Thanks Richard.
