Collected my car from Shift this afternoon.

The whole process has been seamless. I contacted the garage through Auto Trader on Saturday after finding the car. I received a call within 5 minutes of submitting the request. A video call was made about 45 minutes later for me to see the car, as I live 300 miles north of the garage.

On the video it was immaculate, and it was even more impressive when I saw it today!

I have to say, I’ve bought cars from independent garages in the past and never has it ever been as good as this! Customer service is 5*!

The car is a dream, and the 300 mile trip back to Newcastle was made all the more easy because of how good the car is!!

Extremely happy with my new car. Highly recommend shift automotive. Very professional and knowledgeable and was made to feel very welcome. Even after buying the car, Gary was still happy to answer any questions asked. Will definitely be returning to buy from these again!

Absolutely awful experience!! Do not buy a car from this company! The owner is very dismissive and aggressive when confronted with the illegal activity that is going on at his establishment. Warranty is non existent. Been sold a car with Illegal tyres and brake discs! The ware on my tires where fine but there were massive chunks taken out of my tires that Gary cadman and his team had tried to hide by switching over the tires so that the outside of the tire couldn’t be seen! Also they they changed put on brand new cheep brake pads to hide that my brake discs were all scored and worn!

I purchased a car from Shift back in April this year. The sales process was smooth and Gary was a lovely person to deal with.

My only suggestion would be to take extra car when looking at the vehicle in comparison to the advert online as it turned out that the vehicle was not as described online. I take some responsibility as the purchaser for accepting was seemed like a great condition second hand car on face value but also feel these issues should have come to light prior to the sale by the Shift team. Gary tried to rectify the situation at no expense to myself, so I am incredibly grateful for that, unfortunately the situation could not be rectified.

Eventually, after much back an forth, we came to an agreement through the finance company, broker and dealer and the car was handed back to Gary. A shame as the car aesthetically was exactly what I wanted but in reality was not as advertised.

This is just my opinion on the situation that has occurred over the last 4/5 months but as it stands I am happy with the outcome we have reached.

From speaking to Gary about the car he video called to give me a look around, as I live 5 hours away it had to be right, and he was always available to speak to whenever I called. The car looked everything he said it was. I drove down to collect, I was shown all around, the car had been given a full valet, new mot, and a service and was ready to go. I didn't even need to do the paperwork for my number retention as Gary took care of this too. I can highly recommend, and it will be my first port of call in the future.

I live a few hours drive from shift so opted to have the car delivered without viewing it in person, when delivered it was exactly as advertised in excellent condition and drives like a new car, it exceeded my expectations.Also the car had a full years mot and just serviced.

I would definitely recommend Shift Automotive, a very professional attentive service given!!!
