A friend recommended that I give R & A a call as I was after a reliable used car for work. I was a bit apprehensive as I've previously been ripped off by unscrupulous car dealers before. When I went round my mind was set at ease straight away, Richard the proprietor was friendly, extremely polite and informative, I told him my price range and what I wanted the car for. He made a number of suggestions, eventually after a test drive I settled for a fiat punto 12 months mot, low mileage and at a good fair price even coming with a small unexpected guarantee ! I'd highly recommend R & A to anyone looking for a used car....thanks guys 👍

Lovely lovely man, who welcomed me into his home with his lovely family to complete the purchase.
His wife was very kind and let me into their home to use the bathroom as we had travelled for a few hours.
He is professional,honest and fair.

Bought a Vauxhall Meriva from Richard which came with a months warranty. Within a week unfortunately the cv gaiter needed replacing. Richard was great and sorted this quickly with no fuss. Have found the service and interactions excellent as he is a genuinely a honest guy, who quickly actions everything he agrees. If I ever need another car I would definitely look to use R&A Motors again.

I've had my car for 6 months now it's a beautiful car and is in mint condition. Richard was amazing, friendly, very welcoming and went above and beyond making sure I was happy and had all the information I needed. I never felt under pressure to buy. I bought my first car, a Vauxhall Corsa Sri, from Richard of R&A Motors exactly two weeks ago. As I am 17 and live in London, owning any car is a privilege but this was/is a gem.

The car was essentially brand new and looked too good to be true when compared with similar models on Autotrader. It looked so good I made the 100 mile+ journey there just 4 days after passing my test.

Everything went perfectly, I met at Richard's own home, adding to his trustworthiness and eliminating the extra cost dealers typically have to force on their customers. He was very friendly and professional, letting me even get a feel of the car while unsupervised. The car was of course flawless and I decided to purchase it straight away.

This was probably the best first car buying experience I could have asked for and I'm very pleased with my purchase.
