My first purchase from Oakwoods. I am local to them and know they have a good reputation, built up over a number of years and now I understand why. The car I bought developed a serious fault on the way home from picking it up. They could not have foreseen this and were straight on it. Nigel and his chief mechanic, Chris, couldn't have done more to rectify this quickly and put me back on the road at no cost. Buying a used car is easy, buying a good one is more difficult. When things go wrong you need to be able to trust who you are dealing with and these guys back up their promises 100%, so you can buy in confidence. Their videos of the cars for sale are always very useful and honest. Highly recommend them. Experienced, no hassle, and great to deal with.

Arranging a viewing allowed them to prepare and display the vehicle for my arrival, making the whole experience feel more like an event than just another inspection and test drive. I had been looking for a Porsche 911 for sometime and travelled far to view cars from so called prestige dealers only to be met with cars that disappointed and didn’t live up to the dealers descriptions one even had a very serious engine fault and was still being retailed. Also dealers often said that they would need around two weeks to make the vehicle ready for collection if a sale was agreed which I thought to be bizarre given I would expect the dealer to have the car already inspected and in good condition pre sale. I spoke with Nigel at Oakwoods who had a 997 911 in stock and the vehicle description was very clear and transparent having watched the online video. Nigel was very professional and straight forward and clearly knew about Porsche 911 inside and out. Oakwoods was 350 miles away and an appointment was made to come view the car on a Saturday morning, communication was superb. We arrived to find the 911 beautifully presented, Nigel immediately suggested that we take the car out and suggested a test route taking around a half hour, I also add that car had over half a tank of fuel which was refreshing given that we had been in a previous position of being offered a test drive on another perspective 911 from Maundrells in Oxfordshire with less that 30 miles showing remaining in the tank after giving a £1000 deposit to be allowed to do so. The car drove as it should and promised and we loved it. Arriving back we sat with Nigel and a coffee who walked us through the 911’s history and paperwork which was exactly as it had been described. A deal was agreed without any pressure and was a pleasure to do. In preparation for sale the 911 had just undergone a major service by Tonbridge Porsche and was ready to go which we thought was an absolute bonus given what we had prior experienced from so called Porsche specialists. We arrived at the Dealership at 10am and drove away in the 911 less than two hours later which we thought was just wonderful. I enquired about a very high spec'd BMW M135, which was for sale at a very high price. When I said I had done some research and the price was high Nigel said ''oh your a bit too sharp for us, we''ll have to part company'', and we don't want cash buyers. Arrogant to say the least. Needless to say I wont be buying from them

Bought Mercedes E Class from this "top notch" dealer. The car broke down after 20 miles, as it had a major engine problem and there was an engine oil leak. Nigel is not taking any responsibility, as he said car was sold as seen, trade sale. I can understand trade sale, but the car was not safe to drive and sold with lots of hidden faults which were not advertised. Stay away from this dealer.

I had an excellent experience buying my car from Oakwoods. I initially spoke with Graham who was prompt and helpful. When I went to see (and buy) the car I met Nigel, the owner of the business. I found him to be friendly, knowledgeable and straightforward. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured. Just by looking around I could see that it is a well established business; very professional. Paperwork was sorted quickly. Super smooth transaction and I couldn't have asked for better service.
