Pet Vet is very caring, honest, and efficient. Would not hesitate to take my pet for treatment.
Thank you Pet Vet for making a very generous donation to the refugees in Poland and providing essential food for their pets.

I bought my 3 year old dog here after being unhappy with service at my previous vets, I’m always able to get an appointment and Monique (the vet) and Roger (the practice manager) are always so friendly and helpful. I always leave feeling happy and at ease, as does my dog.

Rubbish and don't know how to manage
Things and not professional, find someone else and don't even give them 1pence. Plus they said pets will need to be sedated to microchip them, so took them to antonvets.co.uk who didn't need to sedate them, and did it eith me holding my pets, when goes to show unprofessional and they hardly know anything. Be aware vet visitors, and Goe to antonvets.co.uk
(Vicki Cox a reviewer) is so true, about silly covid rules and being told to stay outside, which I once had to do with a reptile. The vets Don't realise the covid rules were lifted.

Monique the practice vet is condescending, often patronising and unfriendly. When ever I have had to take my cats in for an appointment I have left feeling unheard and my concerns ignored. The practice does not allow you to go into the consultation room with your animals during examinations, and decisions about how they are medicated are not discussed with you first. I have found this vets to be very expensive, and have recently been told that they will not be able to meet my veterinary needs moving forward as I raised a grievance about the handling of an insurance form. They refused to print off the application form sent via email, which I had been told previously wouldn't be a problem. Roger the practice manager has delusions of grandeur, is rude, unperson-able and unreasonable. This practice is out of the dark ages, I would strongly suggest taking your animals else where.

I took my kitten here for his 2nd injection. He is a rambunctious play kitten and was looked after brilliantly by the team.

Had this vet for a long time, love the front of house staff very very lovely but never felt like Monique the vet actually cares about the animals, it’s all about the money! My dog had a starch on his face i wanted it checked, she wanted to check his teeth ears gums, without even looking once at the starch. Then shave his face and have lots of different treatments for after treatment costing £300!! I said soz I can’t afford that today is there anything we can do for now maybe have a cone so he doesn’t keep starching it or anything.. she said no! Absolutely think this lady is in the wont job do not let her near your pets she’s just looking at your wallet!!!

The staff are lovely but Monique is very cold and doesn't seem to like animals at all. It's all about money. I don't drive and was made to wait outside while my cat was checked over and then had to wait for a further 30 minutes in freezing temperatures for a taxi. One of the ladies did take my cat inside for about 5 minutes but I had to wait outside.
Will definitely not be going back there. Would not recommend.

I rarely write negative reviews but our experience here has left me with little choice.
We took our hamster to this vet for an emergency appointment on a Sunday as no other vets were open. When we arrived we were borderline criticised by the vet for not being registered there. After completing a registration form the vet cast a glancing eye over the hamster while asking some questions and took him into the store to examine him. She returned moments later stating that it looked like he had a problem with his hips of legs, possibly from some trauma (such as a fall) and that we could either give him painkillers and hope it recovers, have an x-ray to confirm the suspected issue, or to have him put down. Moments later, she had noticed that both of his legs weren't working properly and told us that he has to be put down, now. We were told to say goodbye and was made to feel rushed to just get it over and done with. She gave him a sedative and we said goodbye; moments later she returned with him in a box with a flower on top. £120 for 15 minutes work and not a lick of empathy (or even patience).

But here's the real kicker; it is January 2023 and we weren't allowed in the store whatsoever due to COVID restrictions! This is the only store in the UK that I am aware of that still insists people aren't allowed inside whatsoever due to COVID. This means that our entire visit was conducted outside the store, in the freezing cold. We could not be with our pet except for a quick goodbye on a main road in the (literally) freezing cold.

The chap on reception was as helpful and friendly as he could be but the whole process felt as though we were an inconvenience the vet just wanted out of the way ASAP.

We will not be using this vet again.
