I travel over an hour and a half to see Mar and the team with my boys. I feel a conversation takes place between us before decisions are made and I will continue to visit this veterinary practice because, I feel, genuine thought and care goes into all their treatments.

I have been seeing Mar for years now, with both labradors and our cat too, she is excellent in every way, she takes as much time as is needed, is kind, thoughtful and gentle, is so thorough and above all the best vet I have ever been to, her team at Petersfield are all just like her, the practice is a haven of calm for any animal to visit, I particularly like their holistic approach and cannot recommend them more highly - Monty has had a small procedure done today and is now resting happily at home sporting his protective jersey! Thank you all so much

This is an absolutely unique one off veterinary practice. I took my trembling rescue dog to Mar when we had run out of conventional approaches to treat his skin and digestive problems. That was seven years ago. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now. Not only was she able to cure him with alternative medicine, she has been able to treat him since for any problem we have had. Treating Jack with both conventional and alternative treatments as needed. All the while, reassuring Jack that he was in a safe place. He was a trembling mess at the conventional vets, but now he trots in to see Mar and her team, tail up, waiting for his treat! They are amazing.

Mar and her team are incredibly thorough and kind (to the animals and humans!). From the big, welcoming smiles when we arrive, to the expertise throughout the appointment, to the reassuring advice - the entire team are amazing. Our dogs have had different issues, but one especially is in the vets a lot. We tried three veterinary surgeries before going to Mar, who was recommended to us by friends. Her whole approach to animals is so gentle and we were hugely relieved after our first appointment to have "found her". We wish we'd met her far sooner, even though its a 35 minute drive each way (our local vets are 10 minutes). We'd been told time and time again (by approximately 10 vets) that we had to have our lab on medicine we felt really uncomfortable with for his allergies and Mar was the only one to try something different that has no side effects and is more effective. Massively good news for our dog and us. That's just one example; we have so many. We've been back many, many times since for various reasons and her patience / interest has never wavered!

Through complete serendipity I discovered this wonderful, wonderful place! My beloved friend and loyal companion Mr. Chester Dog, (almost14, arthritic and somewhat nervous), is totally at ease there, in the calm and very lovely atmosphere in the clinic (as am I!), from the minute we walk in. I cannot recommend Mar and everyone I have met there highly enough, from the first contact to the exemplary holistic approach which has given Chester another lease of life! Heartfelt thanks to all of you.

Thank you, I have been thinking my 14 year old schnauzer was in pain with arthritis. We were recommended your vets for being holistic and treating with complementary therapies as well as regular medicine. As my girl is prone to pancreatitis. She has a sensitive tummy so normal pain killers end up making her feel unwell. So we came and had some acupuncture, as you said she may end up feeling unwell for a couple of days and she did, she wasn’t herself but now she is back to her shiny and happy self all again. She hasn’t had her tail up for a couple of weeks. So it’s lovely to see her walking faster and happier. Thank you.

The staff here are always so welcoming. Our 13 year old dog Millie has been coming here for acupuncture treatment for laryngeal paralysis and it seems to be helping her breathing and general well being. Her breathing has become less noisy and she still manages good hour long walks.
