Wonderful staff who will take good care of your fur baby. Moved here after Loki had a bad experience with ghe previous place and she is so much calmer going to the vets now.

All I can say is if you have other options for your pets I would strongly consider it.
Worked here in the past and the standard of care is poor.
Sterility for surgery is poor so poor patients have returned with post operative infections and even sepsis, but no one ever took responsibility and tried to change (like wearing appropriate clothing, hat and masks in theatre) inpatient care was poor, animals where left for long periods of time in kennels without having anything done to them.
I also witnessed a vet on her mobile phone having a conversation whilst operating on an animal.
The compassion you think they have is all a facade.
I truly believe that if they where to work for someone else then they would of been fired very soon after starting for their corner cutting, lack of care and lack of enthusiasm to be the best they can at their job.
When a practice is RCVS accredited they check their protocols, documentation, standard of care, equipment and how the practice is running and RCVS will sign everything off if they are happy that the practice is meeting a good and professional standard. And that they are competent enough to continue working and provide good care.
This practice is NOT RCVS (royal veterinary college) accredited which means they are able to work at any standard they choose with out repercussions or anyone checking on them to make sure they doing the right thing and working at a good and professional standard.
I never took my own animal there (even when I worked there) as I didn’t trust them to do a good job.
They might be a little cheaper then other local vets but that is not always a good thing.
If you want the best for your pet I would strongly consider other vets.

We had to make the difficult decision to have our 16 year old Staffie, Sammy, put to sleep yesterday and Subodhini, and the other staff members we interacted with, could not have been more compassionate - thank you! ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

I have recently joined Family Friends Vets and I had a great experience when I took my cat Prim for her neutering. The price was fair, and I got to choose whether I wanted any 'add-ons' (i.e. blood test, fluids etc) while she was there, whereas some vets may have done it as a 'necessity' and charged you without your consent. Prim's stitches healed quickly, no cone was needed and she wasn't bothered by them at all. In fact, when I brought her home after the op, when the anaesthetic had worn off after an hour or two, you wouldn't have even known she'd had surgery! Thank you to everyone at Family Friends Vets.

The reason I take my pets to ff vets is because the love and care they have for the animals, not all about money.
