Very good practice. I would rate it 5 if the all the examination rooms had all the necessary equipments to take care of the animals AND the vets. Last time we went, the room had no air filter which can become an issue quickly when handling stressed animals losing a lot of hair

Not a good experience I’m afraid. Had to bring my dog in as an emergency due to a fall down the stairs. Arrived at 6pm on a Friday and it took an hour and fifteen minutes until I was seen by the vet nurse triage. It wasn’t until after they had closed at around 8.15 that I was eventually seen by the OOH’s vet who spent about three minutes examining her over. I was originally charged for an OOH service when I arrived during opening hours. I was left standing in the car park whilst the shutters were put down and was given no updates from anyone except for when receptionists left to go home saying I’d be seen soon. Since my appointment I asked for a breakdown of the costs which has taken weeks to receive and since then have been threatened with late payments charges. The slow service was blamed on having one vet and attending in patients. That shouldn’t stop clients getting updated on timings when there’s a dog potentially in pain. There might have only been one vet but plenty of people at the desk who could’ve come out and spoken to me. What a shame.

Not our usual vets. Came here as they perform endoscopic spaying. Excellent care from start to finish. Kept informed. Found reception staff to be v friendly and helpful. Plenty of car park space too which is a bonus and fees fairly priced in our opinion. My dog obviously happy, as she trotted in for her post op check 🙂.Thank you 💖

This is a wonderful vet. They looked after our beautiful puppy in her last hours during a horrible fast illness. They were so caring, compassionate and dedicated.
We had the most amazing aftercare too with cards, paw prints and lots of lovely phone calls. We would highly recommend them.

I do not recommend the vet hospital in Bristol! I received the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I called up about having my chicken put to sleep. I was told it would be £160, a lot of money but the animal was suffering. Paid the £160. Next thing I am getting threatening letters in the post asking for over £350 more for 'extras' added on without informing me at any point during dropping the chicken there. I have called, emailed, phoned many times but you can never speak to anyone. It is always just a receptionist who tells you to write or email, but emails and letters never get a reply. Obviously, they care about profit and not animals. Stay away!!!

My dog is a regular with highcroft vets in Whitchurch and the service from both the reception staff and the vets is fantastic! So welcoming and you really feel like part of the family when you go there and not just a customer. I always recommend highcroft to anyone with an animal for their treatment. They have saved my boy's life on more than one occasion and I wholeheartedly put that down to the professionalism and quickness of the team. Even the out of hours team are so lovely and nothing is too much trouble.

Bad communication, inconsistent advice and lack of professionalism. I firmly believe that this contributed to an unnecessary negative outcome for my pets. Followed the complaints procedure. Complaint was reviewed by the person involved in the complaint and therefore completely lacked impartiality. In my opinion, I do not feel this vet acted or advised with the best interests of the animal. Would recommend seeking exotic veterinary care elsewhere.

Visited today with a poorly hamster after taking her to 2 other vets and not feeling satisfied. We was greeted by Amy who straight away made us feel at ease and that we done the right decision finding a vet that specialises in small animals. Amy was amazing and straight away after feeling her tummy told us there was a problem, she explained everything in a way we understood. Our only regret is not finding highcroft sooner. Thank you again Amy for looking after Rain with such love and care.
