Medivet Barnes

Lovely vet and really caring staff to take care of my dog. We always get in when we need to and they are wonderful at keeping on top of any insurance claims. Very helpful 5 stars *****

We have been using this Medivet for our cat for a number of years, including recently a difficult decision to have our elderly cat put down. The staff, vets and assistants are always caring, helpful, and very user friendly (for both animals and their human beings). Highly recommended.

I must admit that I was always happy from this place until my cat got pretty much paralysed and I had to seek second opinion and it turned out that it was easy to recognises what’s wrong with him and what he needs. Unfortunately upon another conversation with this surgery I was ignored and never called back again. I refused very expensive CT scan that wasn’t even necessary but I was pushed to do one as I have insurance. When I said my insurance limit is £1 k and I already spent £700 so it won’t cover ct scan, that was it. My cat didn’t get any treatment that was needed.

Always friendly and service minded staff. Very professional in what they do from what I can tell and they have bonded really well with our dog Zorro who always wants to pop in when we are passing outside so no problems getting him to his appointments. Can’t tell if it’s pricey or not but for the service and personal experience you get it’s money well spent. Very good at getting back to you if you have any queries via mail or if they can’t take your call for the moment and always flexible to try to solve your enquiries. Feels very safe to have our dog in their care.

Given a same day appointment, seen on time. Excellent, knowledgeable vet (I think his name is Eloi) who treated our cat very gently but gave her the injection she needed. There was no up-selling or any sort. Would definitely trust this vet and recommend him.
