My local vet to all our 3 cats. Female doctor called Rebecca who is fantastic and Receptionist Charlotte equally so.

My cat suddenly fell seriously ill. My mother tried calling MV as we only live a few minutes away, explaining it was an emergency. They claimed to have no available appointments and would not offer any advice, told us to travel across London to get care. My mother called again a second time on Wednesday as the situation did not improve, spoke to the receptionist for a long time and explained once more that it was an emergency and our cat wouldn't survive much longer without any treatment. Still, nothing. These people do not care about your pets! They only "care" if you've got a lot of money, which we did not.

We were told to wait until Monday despite being told the cat was not going to make it that long. The receptionist said "Give her water" and that's it. We practically begged them to see her.

Our cat passed away on Saturday.

MetroVet understood this was an emergency and actively chose to do absolutely nothing about it. Unforgivable. If you want your pets to be treated by people who care, avoid this one at all costs!

Horrible care! They don’t care about your pets and they have no idea what they are doing! I now changed the vet, because if I stayed there I am afraid my dog would have passed away.

I am very disappointed with the care of my dog in this clinic! My dog had a very strong ear infection. I visited the vet 3 times.

First time I came the lady asked me which ear was infected. I was in shock! When I sent them photos of his ears as they asked, also one of the ears was very swollen and easy to see, however both of them were infected. He was prescribed with medicine I found on eBay for £15 and got 10 tablets for the infection. Didn’t help! I payed £170.

Second time he was prescribed with a little bottle, and again didn’t help! Payed again £170.

Third time, when my dog was in a horrible condition, barely walking with my husband with the dog in his arms, they finally took a swab should have been taken on the first visit. However the swab wasn’t sent to external lab and I wasn’t informed about it. They said that they do swab in their clinic and they can’t tell what type of bacteria it is. Strangely enough I received more medicine this time and also payed £170.

In conclusion I payed around £510 and I was not even informed about what is wrong with my dog. Didn’t receive anything specific about the results of his condition and most importantly help!

MetroVet have been truly great. We’ve taken our kitten there to get her immunisations and to be chipped and spayed. Both times everyone involved has been great, friendly, reassuring and also thorough in explaining aftercare and what is normal for our cat. As first-time pet owners (rather than caring for them and our parents doing the admin) this was really comforting. The prices are very reasonable in my opinion and is great value overall. Highly recommended

I have been asking for appointment for 2 weeks and no answer until the 3d week, I took my dog there and he said he has got heart problems , he said call tomorrow and I will refer to a specialist, I called the next day and they said the doctor called sick and they will tell him on Monday my dog passed away on Sunday. It’s so much pain for us , it looks like I didn’t help my dog 😭👼. He was part of our family for many years and it looks like vet’s they don’t care 😭

An extra special thank you to Rebecca for looking after Hazel's health to Gina and Eleanor for your continued support and kind words during worrying times and Adrian for saving Murphy's life on more than two occasions now. I couldn't have got through this year without you.

The vet saw my cat Tommy, at short notice, who had an infected leg from a bite he got during a fight. The receptionist was lovely and welcoming and we didn't have to wait long before we saw the vet. The vet was kind and gentle with Tommy, who is always traumatised when he goes to a vet, but she managed to examine him efficiently and prescribed appropriate medication. Tommy has completely recovered and is his mischievous self again.

Really great experience with MetroVet. Everyone I dealt with at this vet was absolutely lovely and super helpful. Fair pricing and just overall a great experience. I hope we won't have to come back too often but it's good to know that if I do I'm in great hands!
