I found this vets as they were listed under the Rabbit Welfare Association's rabbit-savvy vets. (Rabbits are basically regarded as exotics due to how different their digestion is from animals like cats and dogs). I've not been disappointed. They have fitted me in urgently twice now when I called with issues that they recognised might be related something very serious for a rabbit. I've seen David the majority of times and Robert only once. David has been extremely thorough and careful. And he is clearly a vet that has taken the time to understand these complicated animals and is passionate about ensuring they have the right care. Both times I have seen David for an emergency he has treated the animal and asked me to arrange a follow-up appointment to ensure their recovery is on track, and the follow up appointment is free unless they require any further treatment. This gives great peace of mind. Robert was also lovely with them and very gentle but as they had recently been seen by David, he did not need to do so much with them - he did however take their temperature while I was holding them as they seemed to be calmer this way.
I wanted to write this review so that any rabbit owners know it is a good place to take your rabbits.

A really excellent, knowledgeable, friendly and caring veterinary practice. Our kitten had eaten something she shouldn't, and they squeezed us in for an appointment and a check-up the day after. I knew she was in safe hands - thanks so much!

Very happy with the service and handling of my dog Buster, who has many ailments and was under no pressure to remortgage for his care.
They squeezed us in for an urgent appointment the same day I called them before I was actually registering with the surgery.
The staff were friendly and professional, very happy customer. Thank you 😊

We found Yew Tree Vet Cntr when desperately looking for a vet who could help remove a tumor in Bailey's, our dog's, jaw. The team was very helpful from the first phone call. David the Vet, who saw Bailey, was extremely helpful and patient (with us and with Bailey). Considered all aspects of Bailey's past history and explained all options to us in detail. The surgery took place promptly and within days Bailey was back at home. Since then we moved all our pets to Yew Tree and Bailey who has particular gift for getting us worried, has been successfully cared for by David every time. It is no exaggeration to say that Bailey would not be alive and happy today if it wasn't for David and his Team's excellent care.

My dog had a blockage and was unable to pee. Rob (one of the vets) did two procedures on him and managed to clear the blockage and then remove the stones from the dog’s bladder. Nothing has been too much trouble for them and my dog, Rupert, has been given the best treatment possible which as saved him from a very costly surgery. I’ve been with this vets for two years and they have been constantly superb, professional and caring. Even during the lockdown they have continued to work under trying times but have provided care to a very high standard. I’m so glad I chose them when I moved. Thank you to the whole team!

They're great. Took my Bengal cat in with a fight injury. Properly diagnosed and treated. Now fully recovered thanks to Kieren.
