I was never forced to stick unnecessary vaccines into my dog, buy dog food from them or get a dirty look when i told her my 8 year old was not spayed. I find this is very common with many vets ive visited, which really puts me off and i find myself looking for a new vet every time they try to force their beliefs onto me and not respect my decision. I can already sense that i wont be changing vets again anytime soon!
All the staff there were polite, kind and so lovely. Lola walked away with a tummy full of treats too, so she wasn't complaining either.
I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who's looking for a place to take their dog and who genuinely cares about their dogs health.
BEWARE The people working in this place are unbelievably crooked.
They will charge you undisclosed amounts and will not provide an itemized bill.
They won't even examine your pet and just diagnose based on what you tell them. (THEY WILL CHARGE YOU TOUGH)
Often they don't listen to anything you say actually just a robot smiley face on and they just nod their heads but don't process anything so talking to them is a waste of time.
Pure CONTEMPT AND EVIL IN THEIR EYES. Would not trust them if I was you.
Everyone (receptionist, nurses and vets) are very friendly, helpful and considerate. All the questions are answered with care and they're great with follow-ups as well. Highly recommend!
Also, Bruce's book is a great read - really shows how the world of pets has changed from the 1970s!
I moved to London a few months ago and my dog was due for her yearly check up and jabs. I tried this clinic as it looked welcoming. During my consult I was asked about any chronic conditions and I mentioned that her ears frequently bother her, at times resulting in ear infections, among some other persistent issues. Dr. Fogle kindly did a work up on her, checked on the areas that I had mentioned and gave her her jabs. It was only when I got home that I realized he never examined her ears.
I called to mention this oversight and ask that he or someone at the clinic take a look at her ears, as should be done as part of any annual examination, much more so when you’ve pointed out the issue. The receptionist told me, that all is fine and understood but I would have to pay an additional £80 consultation fee to see the doctor again. I explained to her that I had mentioned this issue to the doctor and I didn’t think I should have to pay again for something he seemingly forgot to check. We went back and forth and finally she ask if I would like to speak to the doctor, I said yes.
While I was expecting to speak to Dr. Fogle, to my surprise, I was greeted by a different doctor, Dr. Hugo. Needless to say, he completely took the whole situation in a horrible and sour direction. He asked me to explain the situation, I did. He then repeated what the receptionist said, and as I tried to explain why I disagreed, he started interrupting me. I asked him to let me explain and he told me he doesn’t have time to listen to me. I was stunned. I have never met someone so rude, unprofessional and dismissive. After that, he continuously would not let me speak, kept interrupting me and then started to raise his voice at me. At that point, I mentioned to him he was being extremely unprofessional and he said “if you have any complaints, you can put it in writing to Dr. Fogle.” So, here I am putting my complaint, in writing, for Dr. Fogle, the clinic, anyone who is thinking about taking their pet to London Vet.
Never have I been verbally accosted by a medical professional. He should be ashamed of himself. Needless to say, I will not be going back.
