The Veterinary Practice - Beresford Capps

As new puppy owners I couldn’t be more pleased with the level of service and care from our vet and the lovely staff here. Everyone takes a genuine interest in the pooch and most importantly our dog finds the environment calm and friendly so doesn’t ever get stressed about going in! After care advice is always clear and thorough too— thanks for your help this year!

My dog is a bit of a drama queen but I have been going to Beresford for years and they’ve always taken amazing care of her. You can tell everybody that works there really cares about the animals and they are always put first.

Sadly, after writing the initial review we stopped using this vets practice due to the extreme rudeness of a member of staff.

She initially called my husband accusing us of not having paid our bill. He asked if she could call me to discuss it as his mum has just died and he was busy arranging her funeral. She tried once but as I work in a school I couldn't pick up immediately so called my husband again saying he needed to deal with it. She refused to leave him alone even though he explained the situation again. When I returned her call I explained that I had paid the bill and sent evidence of this.

Unhappy with the way we were being treated, we went to the practice to discuss the situation. It turned out that not only had we paid the bill but they had actually overcharged us!

We have now found a lovely vet practice (Burnt Ash Vets) who I highly recommend. Plus they are much better value for money.

Very friendly staff, amazing service, the Vet was very gentle with my kitten and explains everything.

Beresford treats my pets with care and compassion and I feel very safe with his diagnosis and treatment.

We took our cat to The Veterinary Practice when she was very sick. They were clear, responsive and supportive throughout her treatment - doing everything they could to help her. When it came to end of life care, they were incredibly compassionate and provided real comfort in very difficult circumstances.
