Spinney Vets - Wootton Fields | Northampton

My little cat was hit by a car. Within 10 minutes of him being brought in (thank you to the lady who did that!) they called me, assured me he was OK and arranged his onward care to our own vets. The vet was very helpful and concerned for his well-being and was totally lovely. Pidge only suffered a couple of minor scrapes and a broken tooth

We cannot fault the service that we received from both the Wootton practice and their sister site at Spinney Hill. Our 4 year old Chocolate Lab decided to swallow a rather large stone, he was very poorly and needed emergency surgery.
Quick reactions by the vets and our dog is now on the road to recovery - and both practices have asked about his progress ….
They even took the time to explain the pet insurance process - A massive thank you

Very professional and always has a smile. They always handle my cat gently but with respect and she responds well to them, when she's normally really opinionated!

As life-long dog owners, we've had experience with numerous vets - none have quite matched the care and consideration we've received from Spinney.

We have seen other staff members too and we always get such a lovely positive service and really do help my fur babies, I do NOT feel they ‘money grab’ like most peoples prospective on veterinary hospitals. My pets are also not afraid to come through those doors lol, Thank you very much to you all x <3

I've been using Spinney Vets for many years with various companion dogs, all rescues. One poor little girl was a really sad case but, thanks to the vets and my care, she had 6 months of a really good life. I find the vets especially supportive at the worst time, when a dog has to go to sleep. Not a job I would want to do, but thank you, Spinney Vets.

Have to admit that I don’t have any vets to compare with however, I do know great service when I receive it. These guys are professional, sympathetic and never disappoint. Reception staff, nurses and vets…everyone I’ve had contact with has been brilliant. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for vets service.

I've had 3 visits with my dogs to Wootton Fields Vets recently, all of which have been unsatisfactory. 1. I took my dog in for annual vaccinations and they cut my dogs claws, cutting too short (i'd recently done them at home as I always do and I did not ask for them to be clipped again) one of my dogs claws was bleeding all over the floor when I picked her up. 2. They charged me twice for some ear drops, it took me 5 days, numerous telephone calls and emails, plus I had to prove to them that they had made a mistake by showing them my bank account with the duplicate payments, before they would refund. 3. I turned up for my appointment at 9am, called the telephone number to let them know I had arrived, telephone lines were busy, I finally got through at 7 mins past 9, to be told that the vet would not have time to look at my dogs ears because I had arrived late for my appointment! What the hell! I will not be using this vets again and will take my custom and my dogs elsewhere in the future.
