Cannot praise the place high enough! They took care of my elderly dog really well. Fast appointments, super friendly staff, very responsive and thorough! The op my dog had went really well, with 2 follow ups. Steve was priceless even to the point where my dog was actually happy to see him after the op - of course liver treats played a small role. The best thing about this place is that they have plenty of very qualified staff. It's like a big family. Hoping not to be back but if I do, this is a good place to come back to!

I highly recommend The Hackney Vet. We've only ever experienced the best care for our cat, during both routine check ups and emergency visits, as well as thorough follow-ups.

The vet (lady & I think she was Australian) who vaccinated my dog last week was SO helpful. My dog doesn't like the vets at all and she was so patient and handled him so well that he didn't even need to wear a muzzle in the end. Have had her twice now and she always makes me feel so much calmer and less anxious about taking my dog to the vet.

Amazing independent vets. They're always attentive and diagnosed my dog's allergies when other practices couldn't. Highly recommend

2019 A really top class service. Our cat has unfortunately been a regular visitor to the practice over the last few weeks as a result of a serious tail injury and we are extremely satisfied with the care he has received. All the staff are so lovely. The communication is excellent - we get a detailed phone call from the vet after every procedure and super clear aftercare instructions which are reiterated by the veterinary assistants when we collect him. Feel v lucky to have such a wonderful local practice. Highly recommended. 2022 update - today was the saddest day as we had to say goodbye to our lovely cat. As always Hackney Vets were there for him and for us. Thank you.

The 2 vets we've seen for our puppy check ups have been brilliant, really caring and patient. They don't rush you and they have clear affection for the animals. Really impressed with the whole experience. The receptionists are really friendly too unlike others I've experienced in different veterinary practices.

My very anxious Pomeranian Lila LOVES the doctors here, they're reasonably priced, provide excellent care and advice!!! Dr Shaw is a godsend for Lila, vet visits are so much better with her!

Best independent vet around - caring and friendly staff, gentle with my grumpy kitty and all in all always a pleasant experience.
