Absolutely lovely people are working here. Have been with them only for few months, but never had any issues, always kind and helpful and always can find a slot to see my little rabbit. She likes them too :)

0 star if there is an option. Worst experience and super unprofessional. Booked a spay appointment, took half day off to carry my kitten there, and was told they could not do it on the spot.. the reason they gave is a consultation is needed to check the kitten first, and they are fully booked. Well, I have a spay appointment, surely any check could be accommodated there, but I believed in their explanation and left. After complaining, they called us, saying they can see the kitten for the check in the afternoon. We carried our kitten there again, and the check only took 5 min at maximum! So it could indeed have been done in the morning during our original spay appointment. The Vet finally gave the explanation that he does not want to do it because he never sees the kitten. He did it just for his personal preference, ignoring customer's time cost. They could ask for a consultation when we booked the spay, or he could have cancelled it well before the appointment, rather than telling us when we got there. Unacceptable....

Consultation was mediocre at best, had to hold my pet still, no nurse was there to help. Very minor check up and gave my cat a injection that I had no option to accept and they prescribed me a painkiller for the cat’s food which was double the market price point, it only took me a small Google search to find the medication and was shocked to see how much cheaper it is. What a scam of a vet, they exploit what you love most and expect you to pay the exorbitant price tag no matter what kind of situation you’re in. REALLY DONT RECOMMEND! (I’m getting a refund soon as I have returned the medication to the vet and expect the money to return, will edit this once the refund is returned to my account.)

Been registered at the practice 18 yrs. Used to be a really fab private practice - (Rohen, who was stationed at the Surrey quays branch, treated all my cats brilliantly) till medivet took over about 6 yrs back. It immediately went down hill in a number of ways and I've finally managed to register my new cat elsewhere. MV even managed to screw that up, discussing my old cat with them when they mistakenly called for my new cats medical details, despite correctly describing my new cat as a black DSH with a completely different name (obviously!) and my old cat having been a white DLH!
Staffing is awful. They have a large turn over in fairly young, overseas vets and I've rarely seen the same one twice so you never build a relationship with them. They often don't even have a vet for several days because they haven't managed to get a replacement. Communication is often poor and I feel I have to constantly clarify things. The focus seems to be more on making money than on giving you and your pet the best experience. You have to wait ages for appointments and the nurses are sometimes unknowledgeable and can't help. I'm still waiting to get some meds I ordered weeks ago for my old cat! No one ever got back to me. I'm so glad to be leaving!! I strongly suggest you take your animals elsewhere if poss. The medivet on the A2 driving west towards Blackheath seemed fairly decent when I checked them out 2 yrs back. Or the London cat clinic where I am now, has good reviews.

Such a great practice! We're registered with our mini lop, Mr Choc and we've been happy with every visit so far. Our vet is always so caring and clear at explaining what's happening at the examination. Reception is also very helpful every time we call/email. Keep up the good work, we really appreciate it!

Customer complain letter has been made and sent with regard to the reception’s misbehaviour and mis-conduct at the Surrey Quay branch on 15- Dec-2022. Please can you treat your long-term customer politely? To the reception lady today at 7pm, I know you hate your job, but please do your duty and treat people nicely - I just wanted to buy my dog digestive care food- it is just a quick grab and pay activity, and you don’t need to thread me by saying you would call the police and blocked me out badly with an opening sign is still on the door . Everyone is suffering from freezing winter time and please be kind. You did make me very sad and depressed today. I wish no one could treat you like what you have done to me today.

We have been using this clinic for a few years and find the services to be very good. However, they are down on staff and getting an appointment lately (Nov22) has been tough. We really like Medivet and have used the Camberwell and Southwark vets in the absence of availability at Surrey Quays.

I have been using Medivet Surrey Quays for almost a year now for my two ragdoll kittens and have had a pleasant experience. The vet nurses are welcoming, polite and genuinely care about animals. Jasmine in particular is very helpful. The vets I have used over the year have been somewhat hit and miss. However, Dr Sophie truly cares and is extremely thorough when examining my kittens. Thank you.
