I have two dogs. Both of them have quite bad teeth. I noticed one dog's teeth were loose so i went to this vet for help. They seemed not be very capable to do anything apart from giving painkillers and referral letter, which is fine. The vet simply said it was unfortunate. The vet confirmed both dogs' teeth were quite bad too. Also, i had the dog's annual health check up. they did not say anything about their teeth. Until the point, it is too late to save his teeth. My dog lost most of his teeth at the age 4. it was heart broken for me. The vet gave me the attitude and said 'you really don't have to. it is so common for small dogs'. I am sorry i can't feel that this vet care your vet at all. if they warn me about my dog's teeth earlier, he would not end up losing so many teeth. Now it is my fault to feel sad about the situation. Because of the traumatising experience, i recalled the vet said my other dog's teeth was quite bad. So i asked them to send the referral letter to the specialist. They sent a referral letter without any notes about the other dog's teeth. The insurance rejected my pre-authorisation. So i had to go back to the vet again. Since the insurance got involved, the vet simply said 'i don't think the other dog's teeth are bad at all. to be honest, you don't have to go.' They change their face immediately. Plus, the vet did not even open my little girl's mouth before the vet can confirm her teeth are not bad at all. I left the vet immediately. I cannot trust someone like them who is incapable of taking care my babies, especially when they are getting older. i am sure if there is a problem in the future, they will simply say 'it is unfortunate'. My question is why don't you do something earlier? BTW they are good just giving worming tablets which you can get from pets at home.
I had had a bad experience with this practice 6 years ago when a vet told me my new kitten needed treatment. I sought a second opinion and was reassured that he was absolutely healthy. I only returned as it is very local to me and the old vet left after a few months.
The present vet refused to come out and speak to me although she was sitting in the office with her door open doing admin. This obviously isn't her own business.
The atmosphere is very toxic and although it is very difficult to find a vet to take on pets I feel no trust at all in this truly horrible practice.
Neighbours tell me there is a rapid turnover of vets and staff. The place seems to have a bad reputation; there are far nicer practices in the area.
So I went to forest vets about my dogs leg, due to the dog not displaying too much pain or the general pain level I was advised to put her on medication and see how she goes after 7days...
After 5days a broken bone starts to heal itself which then causes difficulties along the line leaving a smaller chance of keeping the leg.
Due to the advise of this veterinary practice I waited 7days can you imagine the worry and pain my little dog was going through with a broken leg !
I would not recommend this vet
You go to professionals to get help amd correct recommendations I was wrongly advised which had been detrimental. Horrified by their lack of knowledge and they are the ones to advise us.
Outrageous customer service, the person at reception clearly doesn’t value her job, respects herself or love animals. Stay away from that practice, it is a disgrace for pure souls like animals and she , as a face of the company should be retrained and taught morality, etiquette. Such experience should be avoided!
Shame on them, the name, the animals they represent.
Rude to the core, I have never ever experienced such behaviour and being on the phone it is unacceptable when customer in need are coming on the door. It is not giving anyone, any pleasure to ask for help. Horrible customer service and inhumane approach.
Zero zero stars and tolerance for such a person that smiles with fake smile and had no empathy.
Stay away from that practice!
Thank you 😊
The only disappointing feature is that the firm need to attend to the broken ventilation in the treatment room urgently to protect their excellent staff.
All of the staff are great, so friendly to us and our dog Tank. Tank actually likes going to the vet now! Dragos was brilliant and we are so grateful to him for everything he, Georgina and Hanny did for us. I would highly recommend this practice. Thank you so much.
