Carmel Vets, Penn Fields

Thank you for taking care of T4 in his last couple of weeks of life.😢 The compassion, attention and attitude of everyone has always been exceptional, but the support over the last two weeks have gone above and beyond. If anyone is looking for a suitable vet for any animal, you will not find better than Warpole & Bingham (now Carmel) in Penn Fields, Wolverhampton.

Carmel vets took over from Tom and Nigel Walpole and Bingham vets who were passionate about their practice and what ever time you needed them they would make sure they would see you with no hesitation unlike Carmel vets ,I am very disappointed how Carmel show no empathy what so ever towards their patients , all you are there is a number. I am writing this to point out a situation which was both stressful and very upsetting. When my dog took a turn for the worst and needed to be laid to rest they would not help as they said they hadn’t any appointments that same evening so I had to take him to another vets which was out of hours although it was only 6.30pm who my dog was not familiar with which added to the stress and upset . I could not and will not ever understand why they couldn’t see us at the end of their last appointment just to show at least a tiny bit of empathy of what was a very sad and upsetting time

Always friendly and professional. Can always get an appointment. They’ve looked after my cats and dog over the years and never had an issue. They advise and are sensible on treatment plans. I’d recommend them 👍👍

Unfortunately the 2 vets who owned the practice have retired and the chain that has taken over is purely after money and lack the years of knowledge that Tom and Nigel had. Such a shame as that's been my vet for many years.

A wonderful small veterinary surgery. Tom has dealt with my dogs and cat for many years with cruciate surgery to diagnosis and treatment for lupus. I cannot speak high enough of Tom. He's very knowledgeable as well as being friendly and making what could be a stressful visit due to injury or sickness, a pleasure and you leave knowing that your pet is in safe hands and receiving the best of treatments.

This place is great. My hamster is only 10 months and he was experiencing hairloss and itchy skin. I was going to take him to another vet but they were too busy so I looked for other exotic vets and found Carmel vets! They gave me an appointment for the exact time I wanted it and they were great with my hamster. The vet was really helpful and they gave my hamster treatment! The place is also quite clean and I will be coming again!!

Thoughtful caring staff who made my last moments with my beloved Westie Ben easier, I held him till he fell asleep for the last time. Thankyou all xx

Tonight went to put my hamster to sleep. Vet was so lovely and kind. She stayed passed her finish time just for us got us in last minuete. Thank you so much. Also prices where really reasonable. Thank you again will be using this vets for all my pets
