We just wouldn't go anywhere else! We had to say goodbye to Lucee & Zellie last year at the ripe ages of 14 & 18 (mother & daughter). Even at those ages, If they had anything wrong with them, Bill & his wonderful team moved heaven & earth to find out what was wrong and most times it was cured. Both were very healthy little dogs for their ages and this is a credit to the fantastic, caring team at Rushcliffe. Lucee died suddenly from a sudden stroke and Zellie just decided to call time. Even after their deaths the team was there for us.
Now we have our little Rubi who is 11 months old. She has been thoroughly cared for and was on the puppy plan with Susan from 9 weeks old.
We really cannot thank the team at Rushcliffe enough - we could never go anywhere else and find the same amount of dedication, care and love for our pets. Thank you very much to all from Joy, Barry & Rubi

Used for the first time last week with our new little puppy Jett. Service was performed safely, appropriate masks worn. Really friendly vets and staff. We will be using from now on. Highly recommend Rushcliffe Vet Centre.

We had to take our hamster to get his claws trimmed as they were starting to curl - this was his first trip to the vets so we were quite nervous about how he'd react. Staff were really friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. A reasonable price too. If we have any need to take him to the vets again, we will be sure to go here!

I went today for the first time expecting both my cats fudge and babies to be pts,was met by Jenny, couldn't have wished for a nicer person, she was very caring both to Fudge,Babies and myself and very thorough in her examinations and answered all my questions,I didn't feel rushed and ended up bringing both my babies home and not pts,all the staff were very friendly and helpful as I was obviously very upset,I will definitely be staying with them now,Thankyou so much. I'm so grateful to everyone at Rushcliffe vets for the excellent care they took of my dog, Pepper. After a bad reaction to something and a suspected obstruction, they got her in asap and then took great care of her over two very stressful days.

Everyone we talked to was very reassuring and gave us sound advice. You could tell they genuinely cared and wanted what was best for Pepper. Many of the staff stopped to talk to us both in the waitroom and in the car park to ask how she was doing and to check we were OK as well.

It's not an easy job they do, it must be hard and heartbreaking at times, but they do it day in and day out without complaint. I certainly couldn't do it.

I couldn't be happier with this practice and am so grateful to have Pepper happy and healthy again by my side. Thank you all.

Although friendly at face value, I would NOT recommend Rushcliffe Vets, in fact I would strongly recommend AVOIDING if you can. Our puppy had issues with his skins for 4 months and visit after visit they couldn’t tell us what was wrong with him and prescribed him, antibiotics, anti itching medication amongst other things - and we spent a fortune on consultations and the medication they recommended us, but nothing seemed to improve. We were concerned, and so thought to consult a distant family friend who is also a Vet for a second opinion. To our surprise and over a FaceTime call and just a few photos we sent to her, she diagnosed him with skin dermatitis and said it was likely caused by flees/mites and that the flee treatment given to us my Rushcliffe was probably not doing the job. Now and within weeks our dog is almost fully recovered and happy. The vets here couldn’t even diagnose a simple flee infestation, and were recommending we put puppy under general anaesthetic, take skin samples and other treatment that would have made no difference to our dogs health and cost up to and perhaps even over £1000.

Which makes me think, are they just so incompetent, or simply are they trying to make money from us as the cost of our dogs health. And when we challenged them, surprisingly more advice and know how suddenly came to light. Dishonest and incompetent!

AVOID THIS PLACE!

Went for an appointment with my cat, the room they had for us was used by a dog seconds ago, my cat was distressed. The room also has good hiding places for cats and then to make it difficult to get them out. The vet was afraid of my cat. Not very cat friendly.

I changed to this vet when I moved house, and with moving house comes the complication of local un-neutered Toms to 'discuss' territory with my own cat, so I've visited a couple more times than I'd have liked to!

I've only ever visited during covid times, both for routine jabs (one of which my cat had been getting annually at the last place, which Rushcliffe advised was only necessary every second year) and for a couple of 'war wounds'.

All the staff are so friendly whilst being efficient, and I trust them completely to take care of Monty while I wait in the car park.

Would recommend, and have done.
