I took my elderly dog here believing the cost would be affordable , as that is what they say ! 2 visits and over 230 pounds spent just to be told hes old . Had to pay twice for consultations even tho it was only two months apart . And charged 55 pounds for metacam! It's 15 pounds online . This vets is not a cheaper option. We are now in debt and all to be told what we already knew . We needed pain relief for his hips!

Took my cat as not eating and loosing weight to be sat in reception when a dog was brought in and urinated on the floor at which point the receptionist grabbed a mop and bucket out of the cupboard wiped it up then brushed the mop on my partner's legs and put it back in the cupboard no wash or disinfectant then took the cat in to be told he was dehydrated and to bring him back in 1 Week so he could be put on a drip over the week he got worse took him somewhere else to be told and was shown he had a massive cancerous lump on his stomach and had been in pain for a long time cavans charged me 170 odd quid for the privilege of a miss diagnosis unfortunately we had to have him put to sleep could this of been prevented not happy with there service seemed to be more of a money making scheme

If I could give zero stars I absolutely would! I was appalled by the way they treated my rabbit. He was grabbed around and dangled. He is a rescue rabbit and struggles with trusting people. And this vet was horrible. Very moody and seemed like he didn’t want to be there. Will not be going back. Disgusted by this vets

I have been going to Cavan Vets for over 9 years and have always been pleased with the service both my dogs have received. Over the last few months my dog Freddie developed a lump on his neck and Nathan the vet at the Oxley branch has been looking after him , he has had to try many things to find out what has caused the problem but I trusted him totally and believed he would do his best for my dog, we have had many appointments , Freddie has had a biopsy, a operation , had to have fluid drained , it has been a very worrying time but Freddie is doing really well and I would like to thank Nathan and the staff for looking after Freddie, for all you kindness and support you gave us . A very big thank you to you all . Susan Jones

I homed my two cats from Cavan vets Oxley who were brought in as strays nearly 9 years ago. The staff are always friendly and accommodating and the vet Yanos is very good. Mike was also an excellent vet who is sadly no longer at the practice. The staff work hard in a very pressured environment and clearly care about their patients. Thank you all the staff at Cavan Oxley.

I can't thank Cavan vets at Oxley enough, my cat Tom had to have his eye removed, they got him in quickly for the operation and did a brilliant job at a very affordable price, the after care was excellent and he is now well on the road to recovery. The staff are very professional and caring. I would definitely recommend cavan vets.
