This place is a little gem. Loads of interesting things to see and knowledgeable folk to show you round. I was there for ages and donated a fiver.

Nice to see some old British world beating warbirds out in the sticks, pity you can't visit them up close, it's only open 3 times a year but I'm pleased they're there. Maybe next time folks... Here's a sample..

This is a lovely little gem of a local museum. Only £5 quid for us and the two kids it is a total bargain. It is open on Sundays and bank holidays and is totally staffed by volunteers. The same volunteers look after and maintain the aircraft and are happy to stop their tinkering and talk to you about the collection. There are several wartime aircraft that you can get very close to indeed and the original wartime bunker you can walk down into. There is also a little exhibition with wartime items and aircraft components that again you can get very close to. For locals, there is a lot of reference to local people and communities, including the wasperton air craft crash landing. Will definitely be going back.

Interesting museum and loved learning more about planes and the part they played in WWII.

Great museum, a very comprehensive collection of local & national wartime exhibits & really informative staff/volunteers. Cafe is also good and a lovely spot to watch planes take off and land. Our kids loved it but worth a visit for anyone passing through or with an interest.
