Grange Moor Hotel

The decor is older then my great gran and 2 staff you hardly see... was shocking ... to be fair the staff that was there were nice and the bath in our bathroom was huge and clean but that doesn't cover up the rest sorry ... won't be staying again

Great cheap hotel, 5-7 minutes walk to city center. Rooms it's fine but not perfect.
Very friendly staff and small bar and big parking.
Like localisation of the hotel. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Grange Moor Hotel is rather dated but the rooms are clean and comfortable. On the first the water cistern was continuously re filling. By midnight I had had enough. The receptionist was very kind and offered me another room which I gladly accepted. This was all fine until I went to take a shower and discovered it didnt work! So if you stay here be sure to check the bathroom out before settling for the night!

Unfortunately we were dispatched to another building down the road!! The hallway area stank of stale cigarette smoke ingrained in walls and carpet...we were 3 ladies sharing a triple room...which was clean however the room was via 2 flights of stairs and no offer of help with our luggage as we walked down the road or advised there was not a lift in that building...not ideal if you have a disability 🤦‍♀️ fortunately we didn't have!
Our concerns were if there was a fire or emergency...no phone in the room...or security/reception staff on the door....it very much felt like a halfway house type of vibe..🤔
It was cheap at £100 for the one night for 3 sharing....but not a great experience!
However the reception staff in the main hotel were really pleasant and cheery!! 😁

The venue was clean and lovely looking and the we're staff very friendly and you had a laugh and a chat with them. But the alcohol and soft drink had to be replaced all throughout the evening as was very soapy. This could be due to the glass dishwasher or the drink lines wasn't washed out propley. Myself and family were there for a family wedding.

the hotel is excellent, the staff is lovely and communicative. the parking lot is spacious and the city center is close, sugar at the end: the menu is tasty and nice and all the praises to the chef for the delicious dish

Only stayed one night, staff I met were polite. Rooms clean and tidy and not overpriced, ideal for a quick no frills stop off.

Due to the weather condition, I am forced to stay in Maidstone. Quickly check on the internet, and finally find this lovely place. The receptionist is quite kind, the room is neat and clean. The view outside the window forms a peaceful atmosphere with snow covered.
