The pub is great, we were there for a wedding reception in the upstairs room. Perfect for parties and get togethers. The bar staff were kept busy and were really friendly and helpful.
We did get a drink downstairs first and the staff there were friendly too.
This is another dog friendly pub, we will be visiting again with my dog Molly later in the month. Thank you for being dog friendly and making our special friends day absolutely perfect x

I went there because my son works for the pub, loves it and was keen for us to visit it. I am glad I did, because it has the feel of a traditional pub but with a great variety of great drinks - I tried a few and can recommend the rhubarb cider! The atmosphere was relaxed. It was quiet when we went - but then again it was in the day time... I will be back!

We use the upstairs for professional networking events for local directors and the feedback is always positive! Very friendly atmosphere and great range of pints on tap.

I recently visited this traditional UK pub and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting.. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick and efficient.
Even as a I was not familiar with the process of odering directly at the counter. The drinks selection was also impressive, with a variety of local beers and ales on tap, as well as a good selection of wines and spirits. I would highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for a true taste of traditional British culture.

Came by this place by accident, saw it was a Blue Monkey pub so had to go in and have a couple. Warm friendly atmosphere and very easy going with friendly staff. Great range of Blue Monkey cask ales on too with a couple of guests.

We of course went straight for the stouts and they were fantastic. Free tasters were also offered.

I recomend the pork scratchings they come in a big bag with a pot of dipping sauce too.

Well priced and friendly. Will be back.
