A cosy little pub right beside Ravenglass station.

A great place to grab a drink and a bite to eat before heading off on your next adventure.

Roaring fire in the stove was most welcome too!

Stopped by the Ratty Arms while passing through in the Lake District, having a mochaccino and a slice of carrot cake (they were running a special deal for coffee and cake for £4.95). Both were really nice. 🍰 The staff are also very welcoming and friendly (dog friendly too!)

Not the best tasting Estrella but did have a great pint of Shipyard. I had a sandwich which was good and a nice variety of salad to go with it.

Ed I cant reply to your post. I drink Estrella at my local, its reviewed on here somewhere The Ship, Saltburn. It didn't taste right, and unusually, there was no lacing on the glass. I told the lady behind the bar, I'd left 3/4 of a pint. She didn't offer to replace it so I ordered a Shipyard and that was indeed great. Hope that helps. I'll try pop in again before i leave, I'm going home Saturday.

Had our evening meal here while staying in Ravenglass. Food was lovely. Very quick service and a very welcoming pub. Price was value for money and there was lots on the plate. Will definitely return and would recommend :)

Booked this for the first time for my birthday, the reviews looked good so we thought we would give it a try. Long story short, we can’t wait to get back there! Food and service was beyond amazing! Very welcoming and cosy. Very family friendly with a really great kids menu. Our party aged from 2 years to 78 years and we all loved it!

It was a 40 minute wait but OMG the food was amazing so worth the wait. The pub was packed & we can fully understand why, it was buzzing with lovely happy people, the owners very friendly & welcoming even gave our 3 dogs a treat, well worth a visit, but would recommend booking as it's really popular. Bellies very full. Thank u The Ratty arms, Ravenglass (very dog friendly} 😁👍
We spoke with a lovely gentleman called Roger who talked highly of Ravenglass & we can understand why now we experience it ourselves 😁👍

Excellent pub with great food, friendly staff and excellent location, right next to the railway station. We popped in for a quick coffee on our way back from a hike and after looking at the menu and seeing some of the food served, we knew we wanted to come back for dinner. Managed to book a table for the following day and we're really glad we did. Food was amazing, good size portions, bursting with flavour (especially the mixed seafood salad) and arrived in good time despite that they were busy. We are quite fussy but really couldn't fault it. Thank you!
P.s. best to book as pub was quite busy.
