We came here to eat dinner and it was an amazing experience. Phil was our server, and he was charismatic, funny, friendly and helpful in every aspect. Our food was incredible as well, I ordered the 30 day aged rib eye steak (10oz) and I enjoyed it very much. It was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The sides were a great size and I left feeling full and satisfied. The bathrooms are clean and well kept. Overall super good time!!

Lovely sunshiny lunchtime spent in this New Forest Pub. I had fantastic rump steak & apparently my wife’s smothered chicken was equally as good (not sharing 😂) very helpful & attentive staff with a bar that lacked nothing you’d be hard pushed not to find something you didn’t like!

A very popular pub/restaurant. Very clean throughout. Outside seating area. Menu very good. Food of an affordable high standard. Staff very friendly and helpful at all levels. Book ahead advised. Very much enjoyed my visit. Recommended.

Had a nice meal here on the way home from our caravan holiday. Was a lovely end to the trip, the pub is really lovely, clean, and has a beautiful relaxing garden out the back. The food came out quickly which was much appreciated, the food was nice and well presented and the kids desserts were delicious! We were looked after by a wonderful staff member called Phil who was attentive and friendly, the Queens head should be proud to have him on the team, he went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely family meal together. I would definitely go back if passing again. Four stars given as my pie didn’t have much meat in it, otherwise I’d give five.

We used to love walking the dog and then eating at The Queen but those days are gone. Three times we have tried but with no food being served in the bar area, we have been turned away as they are always ‘fully booked’ even though half the tables are empty. The atmosphere is gone, the friendly ‘what would you like’ gone!! If you fancy a bag of crisps at a empty bar. This is for you…

A beautiful pub/restaurant filled with lovely staff! In particular Paula and Harvey who gave our dog lots or fuss and treats to settle him. They were able to seat us at late notice and we stayed all evening. The food was the best we had in our stay at the new forest, having been recommended to go here by family we can see why. Large selection of drinks, cocktails and great food- very classy and charming.

Fantastic service, we were well looked after and although warned there may be a little wait as a large table all the food came in good time and was delicious. Pies went down well as they were true pies with pastry all the way round. Pretty good value too. Have shared a more up to date menu and a picture of the sharing camembert that we particularly enjoyed.
