Smoky Boys (Kensington High Street)

Ordered 2 smoky BBQ and Cheese burgers, which tasted extremely salty and lacked coleslaw. Had the same burger at Boxpark Croydon for lunch today and it was delicious....

Visited smoky boys on Friday at this Kensington branch located inside a good court. They do a £9 lunch deal which gets you a burger, fries and a drink.

I got the smoky vegan burger being a vegetarian. They only offer 1 vegan/vegetarian option for burgers but this one still had some really good flavour. It was saucy and succulent. The only downside was that the onions didn't taste too good. They were rubbery and there was too many inside the burger.The moving mountains patty itself also tasted pretty good and had a different flavour to the ones I've had previously. A lot of chains and restaurants use moving mountains patties for their vegan options but this was seasoned differently which enhanced the flavour.

The chips were nice and they give you a large portion which is probably more than enough for 2 people. Service was pretty decent and it didn't take too long for them to make my meal so I would defo come back in the future. It would be good if they could have some more veggie options on the menu to attract people that don't eat meat.

It's been a while since I've had a good burger. I definitely recommend trying this place if you're in the area and confused with all the choices in the area.
Also the sauces are a must.

Was up in London at a wedding fair in Olympia and had some time to kill after setting up. Thought I’d walk to high street ken for some food and a wander

Googled cheap eats and this came up, loved it!!

For £9 I got a burger, drink and fries. The burger was fantastic and the chips were everything chips should be. The burger was cooked medium upon request and was a large juicy patty with Smokey sauce and cheese. The chips were crunchy and hot and a decent portion size to.

If I’m ever in this area again, I’m coming back. Just wish I could give more stars, and to think I nearly went to Mc D’s!!!

An Average average average and not worth of hustle of coming, we ordered BBQ wings, I am sure that we had chosen a spicy option, instead it was sweet, medium cooked, a can of coke was warm barely drinkable, the cutleries were not provided so we needed to ask for wooden fork and knife, wait time more than 10 min.

It's part of a food court. Plenty of food options. This is a halal restaurant. The burgers were nice, good flavour but I would like to see some different textures, toasted buns maybe a little crunchy lettue? Meal deal for just under £10. Burger, fries and a drink. Good stuff. The actual burger patty was very soft and juicy. Good stuff.

Hair in my burger!
Ordered a takeaway burger today at Kensington branch. Waited forever to get back home qnd see there's a black hair inside the bun! Disgusting! I went back to the place to return it and noticed none of their kitchen staff wear any hair coverings. The person that served my had no clue how to deal with my complaint. There was no manager on site and he shared a mobile number with me to call him myself. On top of this I noticed I got overcharged yet they were unable to issue a refund! The staff told me they are not trained to issue refunds!
BTW food hygiene rating hanging on the wall says 5 starts. Not for much longer.
Stay away from the place, save yourself stress and go elsewhere.

I don’t understand It’s disgusting , cold and tasteless same for the wings that I ate but not the burger it’s so expensive , I recommend McDonald’s 3 min walk from here you get better.
They were rude on the till and I didn’t like it. I am not coming back for sur !!!
