An amazing place to come and experience being with rescue goats 🐐, there are literally goats everywhere, of all sizes and colours. You are able to feed and brush them which was such a lovely experience. Some goats have different colours collors so you know if they are able to be stroked and feed. The staff and volunteers are very friendly and knowledgeable, even knowing the goats names. The sanctuary is set in beautiful countryside and around some absolutely amazing tree 🌳. Requested to make a £4 donation and you can buy feed for £1.
Overall an amazing place to come and experience ✨️

A great place to interact with all different types of goats. Special feeding areas where you can feed them carrots or pellets safely without being crowded. Purchase activity sheets to find all the different goats at the sanctuary and win a free bag of goat feed if you find them all!

Basically a large field with loads of goats to talk to our stroke of they want you too. Some have red collars indicating they are not that friendly. There is a small takeaway cafe to eat in small paddock beside the cafe and gifts shop which has lots of what? Of course goats. Definitely worth a trip if you are into goats or want to introduce some children to them.

Absolutely amazing place! Volunteers are lovely, the goats are friendly and loved feeding them. My only wish would be homemade cakes in the tea room 😋

Very friendly goats and polite staff and volunteers. We went for a few hours on a hot Monday. Nice little shop and decent clean toilets. Has a feeding area and a large field full of goats and seating. We had a wonderful morning I left a donation of 14 pounds and spent 5 pounds on food for the goats. You can buy pellets or carrots to give them. Be careful not to feed the purple collared goats. Goats aren't very aggressive but the red collared ones are more aggressive to other goats. The purple ones are also aggressive to other goats. Would definitely recommend for a family morning out.

A wonderful experience. Really is a simple pleasure to arrive at the Goat Sanctuary and walk around stroking the animals. Great that you are able to feed the goats once food has been purchased (at £1 per bag) although your hand will get completely slobbered over :-) A peaceful place for adults to come. Also great for children of all ages - there were some very small toddlers wandering around when I was here. Goats are colour coded on the basis of those you should not feed, those that might be unfriendly (although we did not have a problem) and those you can adopt. Despite some of the other reviews I did not feel under any pressure to make the voluntary donation on entry. A visit will keep you amused for 1-2 hours. A café onsite plus you can bring your own food - as long as the goats don't get to it!

Had a great time at Buttercups. It was great spending time with the goats and we also got to feed them. The goat feed is cheap to buy from the gift shop and we also bought a goat plushie souvenir to remember our visit! All of the staff were friendly and we felt really comfortable and welcome here.

Lovely visit, a relaxed atmosphere to walk freely with goats who were relaxed and happy.
Good cafe, great staff and it is very to see how well looked after they are.
A must see!
Perfect for adults and kids; some feeding opportunities too! not expensive and perfect for some fresh air!
