What a lovely morning walk around. Bought few dog bits, had a hot chocolate in coffee shop.
The place has had so much work done to it. Looks amazing.
Putting a few quid in the charity pot isn't too much to ask. Gorgeous place.
Staff so friendly animals look healthy and well

We go to Raystede alot. Its a really lovely relaxing place to walk around. They do so much for the animals and they are very well looked after. The cafe is lovely . I always like to go in the charity shop whilst I'm there. My dog loves it too. Her favourite bit is the pet shop haha

Nice dog friendly cafe attached to the rescue centre. Inside and outside seating. Plenty of vegan options (more than what's on their website). Lots of parking and free tours booked via their website. Great for the kiddies to go and learn more about animal welfare and what a rescue centre does.

Great place to visit, Free entry to see rescue animals, including birds, horses, ponies, donkeys, goats, alpacas, ducks, chickens, rabbits, Guinea pis, cats and dogs. There's little trails that go round the whole centre!
Somedays, they have activities going on for kids, like following a trail and finding clues to questions to win a prize at the end and a little info and activity pack. And other games and arts and crafts bits going on in the garden area by the yurt (teepee tent)
Thes a small cafe on site, has a small decent menu and a percentage of the cost of your meal goes to the animals, like toys and food ect. You can also choose to add a extra donation to a certain type of animal like cat, dog or rabbit.
Fair prices for what it is.. Nothing fancy or too special, just nice and simple.
They also have their own charity shops, one for just pets stuff, where you can buy bits and bobs for your pets which, and then another for your usual things, clothes, toys ect.

Really nice place to take the kids. Unfortunately we went on a hot day so we saw very few animals as they were all hiding! For the cost alof a donation though you can't fault it. The food was also very nice from the on-site cafe

Love it here. Staff are really friendly and we love to watch as they rehabilitate and care for the animals they have in their care. They were really grateful when we handed over a bag of towels for them to use and appreciate donations. Luckily there weren't too many animals there the last time we went so they must be doing a great job of rehoming them! 100% got my support and it's great to see them doing a fantastic job.
The drinks and cakes from the café were pretty tasty too! Well done Raystede.

Perfect place for a day out and to take children, particularly for educational purposes.

The staff clearly absolutely love animals and do their utmost to take care of them. They are extremely knowledgeable, and friendly.

The areas where the birds were kept were unavailable at the time of writing due to avian flu (no cases at Raystede, but it's for prevention) but all other areas were available.

The goats were very friendly, and would come right up to the fence to say hi. I was surprised the turtles/tortoises were still out as it's late in the year.

The cafe was excellent too, we had cream tea, a sausage roll, and hot chocolate, cost was reasonable and the food was delicious, even if my girlfriend took most of the cream only left me with a small amount with my scone!

Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area, and make sure to show them your support and donate as they wouldn't be able to do the good work they do without it!

Lovely place to visit. They do such good work with the animals! Nice place to go for a walk, see the animals and let the kids play in the park. Food in the cafe is good too and very well priced. It's free to get in but they survive purely on donations and fundraising, so if you can, stick a few quid in one of the donation boxes around, visit the cafe or have a browse in their very well priced charity shop so they can carry on helping these animals!
