Amazing place! We got our lovely cat, Jonesy from here. He was very shy when we went to visit him, but on Christmas day he opened up. This place does get back to you when you enquire about a cat/dog, unlike cats protection who just brush you off

Lovely place. Haa a cafe open to the public that has lovely tea and coffee and doggy icecream for our furry friends. Hydrotherapy was great fun. My dog loved it. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Our heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Battersea Dogs Home. Especially Jane at Brands Hatch and Karen in London. They helped us to find a perfect match. We rehomed a beautiful German Shepherd cross called Duke yesterday (now named Kai) from Battersea London. This is our second dog adopted from Battersea in 12 years. Everyone in Battersea is doing a fantastic job to help the dogs and cats who need a home. We are so grateful. Thank you Battersea.

We are grateful for all the hard work and dedication given by the staff. They have done an excellent job in looking after the dogs and cats that require a home.
We adopted Bella the Labrador 12 years ago when she was 8 months old.
In the pictures - the GSD is Kai, Labrador is Bella and the Lurcher is Bobby. Bobby was also a rescued dog who lived together with Bella for 12 years. Sadly, they both went to doggies heaven last year.
Now, we have Kai the German Shepherd. He is settling in nicely.

Such a lovely place, got my little baby there! The process of getting her was easy, yet thorough for the safety of the animals which I liked a lot. Who knew I could love an animal THIS much?🥺❤️

I can't praise Battersea enough . I applied for a rescue dog earlier this year. We adopted a lovely 9 month Lurcher /Collie Cross who has absolutely changed our lives. If you are looking for a dog or cat please think about Battersea , they are amazing , caring, knowledgeable people that match owners to pets. Can't recommend highly enough.

She's 10 years old today our Ruby Tuesday (was roxxy) joined our family at 2 years old and we couldn't love her more she's our wonder dog thankyou so much battersea for allowing us to adopt such and amazing pooch

Had to re-home a cat. Battersea and the Harrow Cats Home were the only two that would put him on a waiting list. Battersea accepted him within four weeks and were excellent. Very supportive and understanding from phone calls, emails and in person when handing him over. We have a reference number and phone number to check on his progress in trying to find a new home.
