Found Barons very easy to deal with and professional. First experience of selling via auction and surprised by how straightforward it all was. Achieved a good price for car sold in Xmas Classic. Highly recommend.

I didn't enter the car I was selling until the last minute, however the people I dealt with at Barons were very helpful & attentive, also car sold on 1st sale!

What an absolute joke of a business. These guys purport to be some kind of experts in “classic cars”. I’d wholeheartedly disagree. We sold a car through them and I’ve never experienced such disorganised chaotic mosh like manners. Reluctantly, we left a car with them and on auction day they managed to sell our celebrity owned one owner low mileage car. In between this time the service history book (conveniently) went missing and despite giving the new owner (apparently a dealer) the v5 and the car. Barons decided to withheld the funds of the sale to us despite receiving them from the new owner. Mortified, we frantically tried to obtain this main dealer history but without the v5 title, this was impossible. The dealer however would confirm this over the phone to any new or prospective purchaser of the vehicle the full history including 16 records to the west London flagship dealership. However, being the professional outfit that is “trusted by trade, private buyers and sellers alike”, Barons kindly gave this little dealer (the purchaser) our contact details who kept calling us and demanded we reimburse or provide him with the missing service history immediately. Something he could have done himself if he was a bonafide dealer. We explained that without a v5 or him appearing at the main dealer with the v5, or even simply calling them, we could not provide a duplicate copy of the stated service history. This chap proceeded to threaten us with all sorts including bombarding our emails and home address with all kinds of horrible threats. We tried to explain to Barons but nothing, no help and certainly not our money. Weeks later after some serious legal threats, Barons eventually with reluctance released our money to us. No apology no explanation as to how this purchaser got our details. With hindsight, I’d highly recommend you don’t deal with these guys at all. I’m not surprised one bit that a new google listing has appeared with some “genuine” reviews from these chancers. Avoid

I had a really positive experience dealing with Barons Auctioneers recently. They sold my 1998 Porsche Boxster at Sandown Park.. It was such a pleasurable experience dealing with Tim, Karen and Marc, and Tim was especially helpful, responding to any queries I had in the lead up to the sale. I have no hesitation in promoting their excellent service. 5 stars is definitely deserved.
Many thanks
