Halfords - Redhill

Halfords booking system is questionable for cycle servicing, long call times to a call centre that I think, (quite frankly) makes you want to not bother at all. But the black and white contrast once your in store is remarkable, the attention to detail of the service provided by there mechanic Liam was better than the local independents I’ve used over the years. Honest, great communication, talked me through the benefits of higher grade cables, transformed my bike in how it rides. It seems like Halfords Redhill only have Liam as a servicing mechanic and he maybe part time, so the wait time was a little longer, but it was all well worth it the end, it’s a shame these knowledgeable staff are few and far between at Halfords locally, shop floor staff are helpful but are limited by there lack of knowledge.
5 star rating was saved by Liam, 4 star for the front of house staff, 1 star for the process it took to get to that point.

Ordered a mountain bike and child seat. Had some issues, but Liam in the Bike team did an outstanding job of getting them resolved, pulling out all the stops and being very reasonable.
And all in time to save the day for a family bike ride.
Really pleased with the quality of service we ended up with.
We ended up with great advice and guidance, and exactly what we were after. So pleased!

The service I received for a bike repair was nothing short of remarkable from the team at Halfords.As I'm having to isolate (chemotherapy) I could not go into the shop so they came out to me. They took the bike, which was in bits out of the car, quoted promptly and put the bike back into the car when I picked it up. they also arranged for me to be able to pay without going into the shop.
They were great.

Great customer service from lad on the tills. Tried to refund a bulb but E receipt wasn’t working, he politely asked me to go see another bloke who gave me an exchange no fuss. That’s what I love about CS. Will continue to return. Shame I didn’t get names.

Ordered a few bits from Halfords over the last week from this store. Connor first of all helped me load a huge tool cabinet into my car, on the follow up visit he assisted again with Lee also. Class service. Plenty of stock too and the cabinet looks great in the garage. Parking can be a bit tricky but have never had to queue for a space.

The service given by the staff at Halfords Redhill is nothing less than exceptional, especially in the bicycle department. I have always found them efficient, thorough, knowledgeable, courteous and extremely helpful. I bought my e-bike from them 4 years ago, and am delighted with it.

Stopped in for a part for my old car and couldn't have asked for better help from Patrick and from Matt. They took the time to help me find the right part, and to answer my many questions. Both were a credit to Redhill Halfords and I'll not hesitate to go back next time. Likely pretty soon with my old car! Highly recommended and thank you!

Had an appointment to pick up a child seat at Halfords Redhill today.
Due to having a typical grandad’s lack of knowledge about modern child seats I had ordered completely the wrong seat. Zoe the young lady who was demonstrating the seat could not have been more patient and helpful..She quickly sorted out the right seat and organised the paperwork and then explained exactly how it all worked.
I have to congratulate Halfords on the quality of your staff. Zoe showed what true customer service was about and I left there a very happy customer in possession of exactly the right seat.
