Barclays Bank

What kind of a bank doesn't open until 10am? This doesnt work for people who have to work. I know tgwy are forcing us to go 100% electronic but not ever issue, transfer or query can be answered by a machine.

John was really helpful in re-accessing my accounts. The social distancing queue worked well, apart from a minority of rude customers questioning the limit of 5 customers in the branch at any point. Surely just there to protect staff and customers? The branch even stayed open past closing time to deal with the customers already in the queue. Great service

What kind of bank closes their counter service at 2pm? Just have the atm outside and don’t even bother opening a bank. Completely pointless

I have been told in the past by Barclays staff to park in the small carpark behind the bank when I need to go into the bank. There is a notice that says that the carpark is for Barclays staff and authorized visitors and anyone who parks there does so at their own risk. So I parked there today, not taking up any staff spaces and not causing any obstructions. Then a Barclays staff member drove in just after me and purposely parked right behind me, blocking me in and I was stuck in the carpark. I went into the bank to politely ask her to let me out and she was very rude to me and told me she'd move her car when she could.
I'm also disabled, the woman is blonde and drives a newish blue ford focus

Unhappy customer..

I tried to make a counter payment yesterday at this Barclays Branch in Letchworth. It was important. I arried at the bank at approx 1.10pm.. the handwritten sign on the door read that due to unforeseen circumstances the branch would be closing at 2pm.. fair enough.
BUT the beach was already shut ! The door was locked. No amount of ringing the doorbell or knocking on the door made any difference.. why bother with the notice on the door !?
I complained to customer services, who phoned the branch.. guess what ? They couldnt get through.. happy new year..

I haven't been in this bank however the cash machine has had a filthy coffee spill on it for at least 3 days and no one at Barclays has done anything about it. It's a bit worrying, to say the least, that it's not being deep cleaned regularly.

Does this bank ever open?? Staff always of sick, or self isolating for months on end, always vlosd and notes on door saying "unforseen circumstances" closed!!! Go to hitching it's always open and no staff issues

Bank are always shut only open limit Ed hours on top of that always shut due to unforeseen circumstances when supported to be open have to work do can't pay bills as can't get to bank
