Really badly trained staff with minimal knowledge beyond assisting with ATM enquiries. Heard staff openly gossiping and complaining about customers on several occasions. Waited 45 mins for the second time this week to have a staff member scan a form (they messed it up the first time) - a really simple process of changing a bank mandate has now taken 3 months. Clearly problem lies with poor management and unclear processes. Anyway, avoid at all costs - you’ll get decent service in town.

Barclays (Sharklays) are investing in the exploration of new fossil fuels which is leading to the climate crisis and damaging human health. I will never bank with Barclays when they hurt our future. I will remove this post when they stop funding fossil fuels. We're better without Barclays!

Waited 45 minutes for assistance. I was number one in the long queue. No staff on at all except for the staff member to tell us to keep waiting in a line or staff to assist with the online banking. No ticket numbers or wait times provided. People with appointments started to arrive who then automatically got to skip the queue but they also had to wait as still no staff members were in to attend to them. The entire queue left within this time. Awful service and this seems to be the case every time I visit the Brixton branch. I recommend you avoid going to this bank.

Barclays has been the worst bank in Europe for funding expansion of the stuff killing us - that’s coal, oil and gas. Fossil fuels are causing our life support systems to spiral out of control causing flooding from the UK to Bangladesh and wildfires in the US and Australia.

If only their climate-wrecking funding was as dysfunctional as this ATM.

Absolutely shockingly bad experience. The clerk who seen us couldn't be more unprofessional, uninterested to do his job or even to be there. Do your business in some other branch, as this one is not lot of help.

Absolutely terrible customer service! Was made to wait outside for over half an hour until someone eventually told me that customer services was closed an hour before, even though I’d said multiple times that’s why I was then. Was then spoken to really rudely by a blonde woman - who has been complained about multiple times (see other Google reviews). There is so much rudeness and zero sense of urgency, this branch with needs to get better staff or close as right now it has the same level of usefulness as if it was permanently shut.

Don't waste your time going to this bank, your going to queue for a long time then be refused service inside.

Thanks Anna at customer service, your service is terrible, don't understand how or why Barclay hired you when you don't have any basic manners.
ANYONE who is going to this Barclay avoid Anna or your going to be wasting time.
