I have been to the high street kensington branch and is so much better than this one.. everytime I come here one of the self serving counter machines is out of service. The queues are unnecessarily long and is just a bad experience coming here.

If I could give this branch a 0 I would. It’s not worthy of even 1 star. Understaffed, far too busy, staff who just don’t care. Is the branch manager not embarrassed? Are Barclays not embarrassed this is the experience their customers have? I’ve closed my account down.

just keep in mind you’ll have to use the machines to do everything and there’s no staff at the tills even during the shown “counter opening times”.

Im embarassed to be a customer at this bank. The Service is awful and for whatever reason they never like having staff working at the counter, even when the self service machine does not work.
This branch is a complete shambles

This place is the best example of the worst incompetence and bad customer service imaginable. Nathan Beaton (Operational Mgr) and Theodor Weir were unwilling to help my 85 year old mother access funds when my father passed away. Zero compassion, no customer care at all. And what’s worse is they appeared to not even care despite my mum being named on the joint account.
Please people, vote with your feet. Another high street bank was able to help my mother out. Many banking apps such as starling will help you avoid all this stress. And more importantly it means Barclays cannot profit from your money. They should be policing this branch and putting measures in place, but they just don’t care.

Came here to deposit a cheque so didn't need any assistance. The place looks kind of shabby though I've never seen a bank operate like this.

Then came here again 21 Dec 22, to deposit cheque. That took approximately 25 mins. All the time the queue was building. Then the machine wouldn't accept the cheque so had to go to the counter.

That took close to another half hour. People were getting 😤 The queue was horrendously slow and only one was open. In the end I left and took a bus to the Brixton branch.
So much better more every thing, machines, staff and my cheque was accepted there. All done in approx 10 minutes!

Will goto Brixton in future, they should close Walworth down.

Completely understaffed. You have to wait in queues for over an hour, with only one staff member at the till. Awful branch.

Dead bank, slow and absolutely useless, changing for Nationwide for sure, any other bank have higher quality services!!!
