Absolute joke of a branch. Terrible customer service. Banked with Barclays for over 15 years. Spent 20 minutes on the phone through the app to be told they can't book an appointment at the branch to open a joint account but just to turn up. Turn up and say I can't just turn up without an appointment. Can't book an appointment online. Working in the 90's still asking me to hand write my details and leave them with to open an account. Several visits several hurdles always something else.

Came here as needed to get a signature officially added to open a currency account. Told over the phone that I didn't need an appointment an just needed to pop into a local branch. Had to come with a 3 months baby with me as I am the main carer. When I arrived I have clearly said that I just need to add a signature. Despite all kept me waiting for 2 hours to sign a form that took 1 minute. Very unpleasant experience.

Worst branch and bank ,my wife asked for the last three months statement and waiting for more than half an hour they didn’t know how to do it, and they were making mistakes every time, and she left without the bank statement.

Over 30 minutes wait with one person only in the counter services and limited opening times… I’ll be looking to change bank as this is really not a way to handle customers.

Worst bank experience in my life. Manager was rude and useless. Waited for appointment for a month to get nothing. Never again.

Just visited at 2:20 - no counter service available and no one available to see me despite the branch being open for another 2 hours. Told to “come back earlier in the morning” - easier said than done when you work shifts. Really poor service. Currently sitting in NatWest and they have ample staff to meet customer needs.

100% would not attempt to use this bank. I was unable to complete an account registration through the app so I was told to get an in-branch appointment. After waiting almost a month for the first appointment I was told my proof of address wasn't sufficient and to come back with another one. Waited another 2 weeks for an appointment only to be told immediately I didnt meet the T&Cs. What T&Cs? Who tf knows. She wouldn't say. I asked why I had to wait weeks just to be told no inexplicably and was told that she couldn't say. This bank is ridiculous.
