Absolutely fantastic service from Miguel and David. Having moved banking it’s a real pleasure to deal with the staff at Metro they seem to be settling the standards in the banking world I would recommend anyone looking to open an a business or personal bank account to use Metro. Just walk in get an appointment within an hour and by the end of your appointment your be walking out with a new bank account with minimal hassle.

Refused to open an account for a Ukrainian refugee because they don't speak English fluently. You are not allowed to bring a friend that can translate stuff while opening an account. The employee even said that it is the company policy.

Such treatment of customers is just unacceptable and, I'm afraid, unlawful. Go to any other bank next door and don't waste your time. There are at least four of them on the street.

Worst bank in the world. Dont go for metro bank account. This is the worst bank i have ever seen in my life.. The employes dosent know any think. My front sent me some money from India and till now i have not got the money.. its been one month now. When i ask about this in the bank, they dont know any think about it. Then i got a mail frm metro bank that they want to talk to me about this transaction, and i went to bank, but agin they dont know nothing.. They dont know who sent the mail, they dont know to whom they have to talk.. and now from my account they have deducted some money for no reason. I am mailing the metro bank every day and they never sent a mail back. Customer care is just waste of time.. same like the bank.. It was a big mistake of mine that i opend an account with Metro bank. I am going to close my account with them and open an account with any other good bank where every think works properly

Dont even bother banking here just got told i cant use my card online to by trainers from company been buying from for years all of a sudden it’s suspicious activity says need verification then it never works or goes through just been on phone with team for over house passed around 5 times to betold dont shop there going to close account in next few days highly advice going another bank if u do online stuff not helpfull or even want to help talk about pass the buck and 1 week ago he took the approvals off so could order then got put back on and saying it never happened i basically made it up bunch of cowboys running a bank

Super kind and lively customer service. Got everything done I wanted. I cant remember the gentleman's name *sorry!!, but he was sitting on the second spot from the window and he is 22* if it helps lol

With Metro bank it’s not possible to provide internal feedback conveniently via email or online chat; for their own improvement I don’t bother to spend large amounts of time calling or mailing letters, so let me post here.

In terms of card renewal, Metro bank is ridiculous. They don’t send new cards automatically (absolutely okay) and expect you to use the damaged card replacement function instead (okay), but they don’t give any indication about that, even in the wording in their app and website. You walk in a branch and get informed (in a “isn’t that common sense” tongue) and then waste half an hour of your life waiting for the new card. Reconsider your business with them if that’s not the kind of customer service you expect.

The customer service is very poor. We had to open bank account and went there 1st time to ask details and got to know about documents required. 2nd time we went to show all documents and appointment, the employer viewed documents and told us that these documents are enough but he cannot give us appointment and open account right now. Next day, we went and another person said that these documents are not enough. It seems as their all employees have different document processes and their own rules and they all do not know the rules of bank about how to process for customers. So we have to go again for their own poor knowledge.
