I have been banking with the HSBC for about 16 years (personal) and 4 years (business) I am very sad and frustrated of the lack of customer service of the HSBC, appointments take ages to book, there are not sufficient account executives, people have been replaced by machines but procedures still require a face to face meeting and HSBC just do not have enough personnel. I have been a loyal customer but I will now definitely shop around for a much better deal, I got constant calls for Natwest, and other banks wanting my business, why should I stay with a company that does not take good care of me? If you are looking to open an account with HSBC think twice. I feel sorry for the staff at the bank that have to deal with complains from customer like me, they are polite and nice but still same outcome HSBC is letting down customers.

I cannot believe that the post has been around over 100 years, but this branch has no letter box.
One drives there but cannot deliver cheques to be paid in.

I am not the person reviewing everything online. For me only 2 ways makes me do that.First one if I REALLY REALLY satisfied that I see the people helpful or second if the people really makes everything harder. I never like hsbc new malden branch. Because you can see they really not happy to work there and I can understand this and respect maybe there are things that we don't know but we all need help thats why we are going to bank. So before I go my holiday, I went to this branch and tell them the date I will be away etc. Then there is a lady polish lady I don't want to write her name but she by accidentally cancelled my debit card and that day was my flight. I said what I am going to do and she said its ok new card will come she was like really careless anyway happen is happened. But I came back and my card is not working I don't have my new card and can you imagine how hard it is. Then thanks god I went another branch of hsbc amazing people they helped me and my new card will go there . !

Not surprised this branch is closing down. Couldn't even be bothered to process a cheque, told me to do it online

This is by far the slowest service in bank I have ever encountered. If you watched cartoon Zootopia - my kids love it, there is scene with sloths in there. This is exactly how they work, two lady sloths pretending to be working. Avoid, you have been warned!

Went there to make an international transaction, when I said to the lady behind the counter 'I need to make an international transaction' her face went like 'WHAT?' they did not know what an international transaction meant and simply told me to go to another branch because they do not KNOW how to make international transactions. FUNNY, not even 1 star
