Lloyds Bank

On one hand my friend opened an account and had a great experience 👍🏽 however where I waited was a different story 👎🏽: 3 customers next to me complaining about various issues, each customer service person would just pass them to the next person and the next, and the next, so customers are waiting 40 minutes to an hour just to be dealt with but see 3 people in between who cannot help them at all - this is bank madness! 🤯 How can you run a business like this?! 😠 Also the bank needed some upkeep; no leaflets about services provided, light fittings with rubbish in them (dangerous⚡), mucky skirting. Oh and a man next to me had lost his phone and was panicking in case someone had found it and was trying to tap to make purchases with it, I offered some help while he spoke to a lady who seemed to be a Manager or Assistant Manager, she was very rude to me and practically shouted at me, she also wanted to completely block his account which would have bounced his salary due to be paid today(!) I had suggested that the man stay where he was seated so he could have a meeting in a private room, she put him back in the queue, after he had been sat waiting for a more senior person for 10 minutes - diabolical! 👎🏽 Personally I would have closed my account and transferred the funds 💸 To top it off when we left there were 25+ people queueing 😮

I went to this bank to make a deposit and they just closed the door in front of me at 3:30pm. I have then seen the closing time on their door was 3:30pm but not on google maps which was 4pm as I remembered. Spent my precious time to go there to be treated like that? Proud to be your client and thank you for the lovely lady showing me a piece of paper with the closing time through the window! Just remember to update your closing time on google maps too as people do not have to waste their time for YOU!

I don’t understand why they receive a low rating. A lady standing at the front door was so helpful and friendly. The process of opening a bank account was very simple and fast.

This location has to be the worse of them all. I checked online before going to make a deposit and it clearly states and STILL states they close at 4pm. I got there at 3.36pm and the door was closed - i knocked and a staff member cracked the door (i could only see his eye) had the cheek to tell me ''yeah we just closed - its been like this for 2 years, go brixton they close at 5pm"
I definitely wont be going back to this branch!!!

I was looking at the reviews and aware of some of the comments. At opening time I went the Lloyds to open an account. The process was smooth and simple as I was asked a few questions about my current situation etc. The staff member who helped open my account was kind and listened to all my questions and enquiries. So far that was my experience.

Had a wonderful experience at this Lloyds Bank. The queue moved fast, the staff was attentive, and although because of the nature of my issue I needed a lot of help, I was given someone to help me directly. She was so kind and the other operator on the phone as well. Cannot recomend it enough.

The past reviews surprise me, hence I wanted to write one. Maybe in the past they haven't been as good as my experience today but I am very pleasantly surprised, as it probably was one of my best experience at the bank.

worst bank branch in london! the money deposit machine took £20 from me, the lady who stand at front door tried to tell me that I paid £20 less! a little snow fell today and they already put a sign out side door that they are not working today… and they do that all times!

Cant belive they let an old lady wait for a extra half an hour in the pouring rain when they should be open at nine but stuck a sign out at 9 to say they was opening at 9.30 surely their could of let her wait just inside she was the only one there bad customer service hope she's don't become unwell
