Long story short, Santander discriminated against me because I became disabled.
I asked to borrow more money to allow me to move to a disability friendly property. I could more than afford it, which was confirmed in one of their branches with a mortgage advisor. However, they refused to lend me the money and I ended up having to sell my home and was hit with a £7000 early repayment charge!
I will never use them again.

Members of this branch were unable to handle a document properly, breaching GDPR regulations and delaying a process that could have been done online, had there been the means to do so. Incompetent members of both the branch and complaint teams are failing to tell me what actually happened to the document. All trust lost, I would be cautious next time you use this bank as their communications and GDPR procedures are all over the place. Embarrassing for such a big corporation

Tried to open an account. Before coming, their call centre said I don’t need a hard proof of address. When I came it turned out I do need it. They declined to print my document (all my bills are digital), declined to wait for 10 mins while I go to a print shop. The only option they offered it to come back IN A WEEK. Stay away from this bank.

That’s the worst bank in Uk. They all are so unprofessional and the atm has always problems. It’s already 3 times in only few months that I tried to deposit some money and something happened and they got stuck inside. After all you must to wait ages to see your money

Helpful person on the desk who fixed my problem quickly.

In the queue for the help desk I was yelled at by a crazy man for absolutely no reason and no one came to help. I'm a small female who felt very vulnerable in that situation and would've like a member of staff (there were a few on the door) to have come and helped as they definitely would have heard this man's yelling and swearing.

I'm not a guy who often puts feedback, but on this bank office I have to put it because customer service is really poor.

I went to deposit some money in this ATM of this bank, while I was making the payment the machine went haywire, the money got stuck inside and it was returned to me after 20 days, an indescribable thing. However the Santander Bank ATMs are in very bad shape.

It does not exist a worst branch and bank regarding costumer service. I have tried to open a bank account but some of the documents were not accepted. I called the telephone number that they refer to for help and they told me that they could not help me and to visit a branch for help. Obviously, in this branch they did not even listen to me, they just told me call the telephone number because we cannot assist you here. Basically, I went three times to the branch and called several times to the telephone number for help; none of them helped, they were just telling me to go to the branch or call. I have been trying opening the account for a month. Don't worry, I won't give you my money Santander UK.

I had an appointment to open two 123 Junior accounts for my children. When I arrived they said I had no appointment even though I had email evidence and a name. Finally and begrudgingly they saw me. However, they revised to accept my sons British Birth Certificates as they were born whilst i was working abroad. They seem to know better than the British Government about what is acceptable and have their own discriminatory rules. I complained but got no apologies, indeed no response at all. DISGACEFUL AND DISGUSTUBG TREATMENT!
