Unimpressed. Twice made special trips to the town to bank some money into my account only for this branch to close early due to bad weather or unforeseen circumstances. All the other banks in town are open !! Also tried to pay some genuine £50 notes in a few months ago that had unfortunately been through the washing machine only to be told they were genuine but they weren't going to accept them ??!!! I could either spend the money in other shops or send them off to the Bank of England to process (not exactly professional advice nor helpful)

Poor customer service - waited 15mins in a queue. Then told by the cashier that my request to set up a savings account in the branch was "old fashioned" & not possible. The cashier was rude & insensitive!

Very disappointing customer service - more of a ‘can’t do’ attitude than anything else. Gave the impression that dealing with a couple of straightforward issues with my accounts was actually an inconvenience. Customers are the reason that we all have jobs.

Always a very long queue with just one person at the desk.
Also sometimes shuts before closing time wasting my entire journey to town and train fare.

The
service since COVID lockdowns has gone completely downhill.
I had several instances of fraud, and neither have they prevented or solved any of them.
Therefore I renewed most of my accounts with another bank elsewhere.

pathetic bank all round impossible to contact them or get an answer from anyone at all and I have tried and tried and tried, don't bother folks go elsewhere if you want to see real people. Online banking though much better now I suppose it is the way of all things now.

The opening times of this bank are ridiculous. 9-3pm weekdays when everyone is at work and then only 9-1pm on a Saturday! What about people that work all week and don’t work in town so can’t make those times!! It is infuriating!

None of the staff really know what they are doing Which adds to problems and stress for its customers Please put a training plan in place for your customers
