Total Crap hidden away hard to find and no signs. Online states open til 5pm got there at "4pm Closed" well done HSBC close the branches with parking ie "Cowick Street" and put wrong information online for the ones left . Thought I would give you the benefit of retaining a loyal " account holder" but i am not so sure now .

Ive specifically open an HSBC account becsuse working in Sowton, it's so easy to use the automated 'paying in' services or car withdrawals. May take few minurs more if need to use the 'counter' services as only one desk.My existing bank has closed its other small offices so this is perfect for me.

Easy to get to, Free parking right outside and always a really professional service with friendly and helpful assistants.
