Boots

I find most staff helpful at Boots, but when it comes to the beauty section I find some not attentive or just wanting to sell you something & get u out. I returned there after an hour as the EL lady was on break, I went over to her and asked if I could have a colour match on foundation. No smile, no small task, just walked straight to the drawer to get all the shade bottles to test out. I had to ask her what each of the shades were as she put 3 on side of my face. I felt a little uncomfortable, as though you're wasting their precious time! I prefer going to department stores up London as find they are more helpful & accomodating.

The situation from today I bought two things in boots, I went to the self-service checkout, I paid and did not take the receipt. If the machine asks if it wants a receipt, it is my decision and the store should be prepared for the eventuality that someone does not take the receipt. Coming out of the store, the security guard stopped me and started shouting at the whole store that I had stolen. He did not listen to my explanations, he started shouting at the whole store that I did not have a receipt and I stole it! I tell him that I will show him the bank status that I paid. I understand it's his job, but the first time I've ever had a security guard is so mean. Unfortunately, the security guard was so rude and rude that he snatched these two things from my hands and shouted that I had stolen. I like the boots shop, but if this security guard doesn't know how to work with people, he shouldn't get this job. For this Menger acted professionally and apologized to me. I only expected the security guard to apologize to me, not the manager. I am very sorry that I was treated like this by the security guard.

This is the second time that I go to the pharmacy and they say that the doctor didn’t prescribe me the medication, so everything time I have to return to the pharmacy later on the day. Then they continue saying the same. Last time, my partner who is English came with me and when he complained the looked for the medication and guess what? They found it! It was in the cloud they said. They could have looked for it properly yesterday but they didn’t because my very English partner wasn’t with me and my accent it is too much for them. You have the freedom to guess why they don’t look for the medication when I go alone. For me, it is very clear. Please, stop discriminating people.

A tired old Boots that badly needs a refit. Good range of stock but along with the Whitgift Centre as a whole, it's well past its use-by date.

Boots is a very good store, when others fail you, they can meet most of your needs. I have always found they offer great deal on glasses. I also remember working at when I was 15 years after school so have supported Croydons community for years.

Stock was low ( on the items I needed) and displays looked uninviting. Staff chatting not assisting. Self service check out very clinical. Used to love this store but sadly, like the rest of whitgift centre, it's declining rapidly. Won't be shopping here again😔👎🏾.

Great staff even during a very bust period....very helpful. The fact that they ensured the shelves were stocked and tidy was lovely to see.

A good store to buy beauty, medication, other health items and a wide range of other things. Not forgetting that you can have your eyes tested as well as have your passport photos taken at this store.
